1 131 EC CANADA PENSION PLAN AMENDMENT TO CANADA PENSION PLAN INVESTMENT BOARD ACT CONFIRMATION ORDER WHEREAS subsection 114(4) of the Canada Pension Plan, Chapter 8, Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, as amended, provides that where any enactment of Parliament contains any provision that alters, or the effect of which is to alter, either directly or indirectly and either immediately or in the future, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Act, it shall be deemed to be a term of that enactment, whether or not it is expressly stated in the enactment, that the provision shall come into force only on a day to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council, which order may not be made and shall not in any case have any force or effect unless the lieutenant governor in council of each of at least two-thirds of the included provinces, having in the aggregate not less than two-thirds of the population of all of the included provinces, has signified the consent of that province to the enactment; AND WHEREAS, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Act was amended by section 317 of the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act, Chapter 23 of the Statutes of Canada, 2009; NOW THEREFORE the Lieutenant Governor in Council of the Province of Prince Edward Island, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance and Municipal Affairs, in accordance with subsection 114(4) of the Canada Pension Plan, is pleased to hereby signify the consent of the Province of Prince Edward Island to the enactment of section 317 of the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act, Chapter 23 of the Statutes of Canada, EC CANADA PENSION PLAN AMENDMENTS TO CANADA PENSION PLAN INVESTMENT BOARD ACT CONFIRMATION ORDER WHEREAS subsection 114(4) of the Canada Pension Plan, Chapter 8, Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, as amended, provides that where any enactment of Parliament contains any provision that alters, or the effect of which is to alter, either directly or indirectly and either immediately or in the future, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Act, it shall be deemed to be a term of that enactment, whether or not it is expressly stated in the enactment, that the
2 132 provision shall come into force only on a day to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council, which order may not be made and shall not in any case have any force or effect unless the lieutenant governor in council of each of at least two-thirds of the included provinces, having in the aggregate not less than two-thirds of the population of all of the included provinces, has signified the consent of that province to the enactment; AND WHEREAS, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board Act was amended by section 44 and subsection 45(2) of the Economic Recovery Act (stimulus), Chapter 31 of the Statutes of Canada, 2009; NOW THEREFORE the Lieutenant Governor in Council of the Province of Prince Edward Island, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance and Municipal Affairs, in accordance with subsection 114(4) of the Canada Pension Plan, is pleased to hereby signify the consent of the Province of Prince Edward Island to the enactment of section 44 and subsection 45(2) of the Economic Recovery Act (stimulus), Chapter 31 of the Statutes of Canada, EC CANADA PENSION PLAN AMENDMENT TO PROVISIONS RELATED TO CANADA PENSION PLAN INVESTMENT BOARD CONFIRMATION ORDER WHEREAS an amendment to subsection 262(2) of the Federal Accountability Act, Chapter 9, Statutes of Canada, 2006, relates to the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board; AND WHEREAS subsection 300(2) of the said Federal Accountability Act provides that subsection 262(2) of that Act comes into force, in accordance with subsection 114(4) of the Canada Pension Plan, on a day to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council; AND WHEREAS, in accordance with subsection 114(4) of the Canada Pension Plan, the lieutenant governor in council of each of at least two-thirds of the included provinces, as defined in subsection 114(1) of that Act, having in the aggregate not less than two-thirds of the population of all of the included provinces, has signified the consent of that province to the amendment contemplated by subsection 262(2) of the Federal Accountability Act; NOW THEREFORE the Lieutenant Governor in Council of the Province of Prince Edward Island, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance and Municipal Affairs, in accordance with subsection 114(4) of the Canada Pension Plan, is pleased to hereby signify the consent of the Province of Prince Edward Island to the enactment of subsection 262(2) of the Federal Accountability Act, Chapter 9 of the Statutes of Canada, 2006.

McKenna, resigned) EC EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ACT MINISTER OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT (RE: EMERGENCY AIR AMBULANCE SERVICE) WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF NOVA SCOTIA Pursuant to clause 10(b) of the Executive Council Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Health and Wellness, as Minister responsible for Health PEI, to enter into an agreement with the Government of Nova Scotia, as represented by the Minister of Health, to renew an agreement respecting the provision of emergency air medical transport/air ambulance services to residents of Prince Edward Island for the period April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2014, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement.
4 134 EC EXECUTIVE COUNCIL ACT MINISTER OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT (RE: COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL FACILITIES FOR OFFENDERS ON PAROLE SUPERVISION) WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA Pursuant to clause 10(a) of the Executive Council Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. E-12 Council authorized the Minister of Health and Wellness, as Minister responsible for Health PEI, to enter into an agreement with the Government of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Public Safety Canada for Correctional Services Canada, to set out terms and conditions for provision of residential services, liaison services, intervention planning and other support services to offenders on parole supervision, for the period April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012, such as more particularly described in the draft agreement. EC ISLAND INVESTMENT DEVELOPMENT ACT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE REGULATIONS TROUT RIVER INDUSTRIES INC. AUTHORIZATION Pursuant to subsection 2(3) of the Island Investment Development Act Financial Assistance Regulations (EC ), Council authorized Island Investment Development Inc. to advance a term loan in the maximum amount of one hundred and fifty-five thousand dollars ($155,000.00) to Trout River Industries Inc., subject to terms and conditions required by the Board of Directors of Island Investment Development Inc. EC DENNIS BRUNER Pursuant to section 4 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to Dennis Bruner of Harrow, Ontario to acquire a land holding of approximately fifteen (15) acres of land in Lot 9, Prince County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from James Warren (deceased) and Nancy Warren of Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Further, Council noted that the said land holding, being Provincial Property No , was previously identified for non-development use in accordance with section 2 of the Land Identification Regulations (EC606/95) made under the said Act. Identification continues to apply.

L-5 Council granted permission to Kenneth Greenwood of Fergus, Ontario to acquire a land holding of approximately one hundred (100) acres of land in Lot 12, Prince County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Brenda Banks of Ellerslie, Prince Edward Island PROVIDED THAT the said real property is identified for non-development use pursuant to the Land Identification Regulations (EC606/95) made under the said Act. EC GENEVIÈVE POULIOT Pursuant to section 4 and section 9 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to Geneviève Pouliot of Laval, Quebec to acquire a land holding of approximately thirty-three (33) acres of land in Lot 55, Kings County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Wendy Oliver of Toronto, Ontario PROVIDED THAT the said real property is identified for non-development use pursuant to the Land Identification Regulations (EC606/95) made under the said Act. EC DUNCAN ARTHUR SHAW Pursuant to section 4 of the Prince Edward Island Lands Protection Act R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to Duncan Arthur Shaw of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia to acquire an interest in a land holding of approximately sixty-four decimal five six (64.56) acres of land at Charlottetown, Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from PricewaterhouseCoopers, licensed trustee for the estate of P.E.I. L-5 Council granted permission to Duncan Arthur Shaw of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia to acquire an interest in a land holding of approximately two decimal five (2.5) acres of land at Charlottetown, Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Hay Enterprises Inc. of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. EC CATHOLIC FAMILY SERVICES BUREAU R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to the Catholic Family Services Bureau of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island to acquire a land holding of approximately one hundred and sixty-eight (168) acres of land in Lot 63, Kings County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Friends of Catholic Family Services Inc. of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Further, Council noted that the said land holding, being Provincial Property No , was previously subject to a condition preventing subdivision in accordance with section 9 of the said Act. This subdivision restriction continues to apply. EC CAVENDISH BEACH MUSIC FESTIVAL INC. R.S.P.E.I. 1988, Cap. L-5 Council granted permission to Cavendish Beach Music Festival Inc. of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island to acquire a land holding of approximately zero decimal eight three (0.83) acres of land in Lot 23, Queens County, Province of Prince Edward Island, being acquired from Melanie Gibson- Smith of Hunter River, Prince Edward Island.
