Challenge 2
Challenge 3
A week ago, the United States, Russia, Europe and Ukraine struck a deal that was supposed to help resolve the worst crisis. The agreement has unraveled quickly. Washington and Moscow are now accusing each other of failing to use their influence to implement the agreement. Challenge 4

Challenge 10
Currency instability Impact of foreign exchange earnings. Challenge 11
Reduction in foreign investment As tension rises, investors are again taking note, and events in Ukraine could have far reaching consequences. Challenge 12
U.S. stocks tumble Friday, end lower for week (Apr25,2014) The situation in Ukraine creates uncertainty for markets and traders are probably taking some risk off the table going into the weekend, said Jerry Webman, chief Challenge economist at OppenheimerFunds. 13
Western sanctions : Investors are dumping ruble assets in fear of an escalation. Economy is stalling and inflation is accelerating. Russian gas :Moscow could retaliate against new Western sanctions by cutting gas exports to Ukraine. European economy: Energy is important for European growth. Car makers, brewers and oil companies also stand to lose from a trade war. Challenge 14
Anton Siluanov: Russia's economic growth rate this year may be zero. Russia's 2011 GDP growth rate of 4.3%, to 2013 has dropped to 1.3%. This year's GDP growth rate is currently estimated 0.5%, but not without the possibility of zero. IMF has forecast Russia's GDP growth rate this year was revised down to 1.3%. Challenge 15
As the United States and Russia, Ukraine crisis talks no progress The ruble depreciated against the dollar March 1, Crimea when Russia sent troops resolution day rate was devalued by 0.4% Russian MICEX stock index has fallen for three days, once slipped to 1, points, expires earlier closing down 1.6%.
