3 FOREWORD This document summarizes the data reported by the counties in the 5 County Engineers Annual Report to the Secretary of Transportation in accordance with the statutory requirements. Data has been summarized for all the counties that submitted a report. Both statewide aggregate and county-by-county numbers are shown for each category. In order that review and conclusions may be facilitated, the data received in the reports has been summarized separately for counties with the county unit road system, counties with the county rural road system, and counties with county/township unit road system. This summary also includes the information on townships for the county/township unit counties. The township information is shown by county totals.
