The same has been considered and it has been decided to extend the benefits to the pensioners retired/died and retired during the aforesaid period. 3. Accordingly, it is hereby ordered that (i) (a) (b) to those retired during to , the Dearness Allowance sanctioned from time to time and actually drawn shall be treated as Dearness Pay for calculation of pensionary benefits ; to those retired during to , the Dearness Allowance and Additional Dearness Allowance sanctioned from time to time upto and actually drawn shall be allowed as Dearness Pay for the entire 10 months preceding retirement for computing average emoluments for the calculation of pensionary benefits. The pensioners shall apply for recomputation of their original pension at the time of retirement in the prescribed form annexed hereto...2..

2 -: 2 :- (ii) the Dearness Allowance/Additional Dearness Allowance sanctioned from time to time and actually drawn shall be treated as Dearness Pay for calculation of pensionary benefits in respect of those retired/died during the period between to In the case of the employees/officers who have retired during the period from to but died, the life time arrears of pension is payable to the legal heirs. For this purpose, the legal heirs may also apply to the CIAO/Audit Branch along with the death certificate, legal heir ship certificate, No Objection Certificate from the other legal heirs duly notarized by the Notary Public in Rs.80/- stamp paper, Xerox copy of the IOB Savings Bank Account pass book (first page), in the enclosed annexure. (iii) In view of the huge financial commitment in extending the said benefits and as TANGEDCO is also facing financial constraints, the arrears accruing consequent on approval of this proposal could not be paid in one lumpsum. The arrears due to this revision, be paid in two annual equal instalments. (iv) The CIAO/Audit Branch, is hereby instructed to revise the pension and pay the first installment in the financial year and second installment in the financial year The receipt of the Proceedings may be acknowledged.
