3 INSTALLING Step 1: Once you are approved as a live client of DirectFX, you should receive a welcome from newaccounts@directfx.com. Please locate this welcome . You should also check you Spam folder to see if you have difficulty locating the from your Inbox. Step 2: Once you have located the welcome , locate the section that provides you Login Information for your Binary Trading Account. Below this section, please locate the platform download link. It will look something like this: Download the DirectFX BO MT4 Client (.exe) file Step 3: Locate the downloaded (.exe) file in the folder that it was saved. Double-Click and run the DirectFX BO MT4 Client (.exe) file 2

6 INSTALLING Step 8: Locate the DirectFX FX LITE for MT4 icon on your Desktop Double-Click the icon to launch the program Step 9: Choose Direct FX MetaTrader 4 from the list of MT4 Terminal installations on your computer. Check the box to skip this step in the future. 5

7 INSTALLING Step 10: Locate the section in the welcome that provides you Login Information for your Binary Trading Account. Input your Login and Password. 6

8 INSTALLING Step 11: Upon successful log in, right-click the Market Watch and select Show All in order to see all tradable instruments 7

9 INSTALLING Step 12: To place a trade, select the desired instrument from the Market Watch window and double-click. A Binary Options trading ticket will open where you select the Symbol, Investment, Expiry, and Order Type. Symbol: All available instruments will be viewable in the dropdown list Investment: Select the investment amount from the dropdown list or enter a specific amount Expiry: All available expiry times will be listed. Please note that the payout % s may vary depending on the expiry Order Type: Market: An Order will be executed at the best available price Pending: An If/Then order meaning that If a target price is reached, then an order will be executed. Pending orders can be canceled at any time prior to execution by right-clicking on the order and selecting Delete Order. Roller: An order type that will continuously open trades automatically based on the parameters set by the trader to capture enhanced profits from the longer, more accurate expiration timeframes. Identify a trend, set the trade parameters and trades will be placed with the auto-rolling feature. Complete with risk management tools such as Take Profit and Stop Loss levels. Trader can Stop the Roller at any time from automatically Rolling positions. IMPORTANT- MT4 must be active in order to keep the Roller parameters active. 8

12 INSTALLING Order Ticket- 1. Full View- An order interface designed for traders who want to display a complete view all relevant information related to binary options trading including a real time tick chart, trade information and a position countdown timer along with the Positions, Positions roller and History tabs: Positions: Displays open trades and pending orders in real time. Information displayed includes Order #, Symbol, Type, Open price, Current price, Investment, Profit and Status. Total open positions, Total investment and Open profit are displayed at the bottom giving traders a complete overview of all their current binary options trades and status in real time. Trades are also color coded in either green or red to give clients a visual cue on their status. Open trades that are highlighted in green are in the money and trades highlighted in red are out of the money. This status updates in real time until expiration. Positions Roller: If this order type is enabled, all active Rollers will be displayed with Symbol, Type, Open price, Investment, Expiry Positions count and Total profit related to each active Roller. History: Displays closed trades by last Day, Week or Month giving traders insight to their historical performance trading Binary Options. Information displayed includes Order #, Symbol, Type, Open price, Current price, Investment, Profit and Status. Total positions, investment and profit are displayed giving traders a complete overview of all their binary options trades for the selected period. Trades are also color coded in either green or red to give clients a visual cue on their status. 11

Compact View- A version of order ticket designed for traders who want a simple, efficient interface to trade Binary Options without a tick chart, timer, Positions, Positions roller, or History data displayed. The Compact view is especially useful for traders who wish to have multiple order tickets open at the same time allowing them to execute trades on multiple instruments with maximum efficiency. Traders can switch between the Full and Compact views on demand giving them complete control of the layout that best suits their trading style and preference. 12

14 FAQ What is a Binary Option? A Binary Option is a trade that includes three possible outcomes: Win, Lose, or Draw. The trade s outcome depends on the asset s closing value and the position you took, at the expiry time. What is your maximum allowable investment? 60 second and 5 minute expiration times have a maximum click size of $1, minute, 15 minute, 30 minute, and 60 minute expiration times have a maximum click size of $2,000 Is there a maximum open investments allowed? 60 second and 5 minute expiration times have a maximum open position of 50 unique trades or $1, minute, 15 minute, 30 minute, and 60 minute expiration times have a maximum open position of 50 unique trades or $5,000 The combined maximum open investment for all trades is $10,000 What is the minimum investment per trade? The minimum investment per trade is 1 of your account currency ($1.00 USD, 1 EUR, 1 AUD, etc.) 13

15 FAQ What Binary Options do you offer? We offer Binary Options on all major FX pairs, gold, and silver. What expirations do you offer? 60 second, 5 minute, 10 minute, 15 minute, 30 minute, and 60 minute expiration times are offered. Can I trade Forex and Binary Options from the same account? At this time a trader must have two separate accounts if they wish to trade Forex and Binary Options. On the account opening application you may select a Forex and Binary Options account. If done, the DirectFX New Accounts department will create two accounts (Forex and Binary Options), and you the login credentials for both accounts. 14

16 FAQ What are your payouts? 60 Seconds = 75% 5 Minutes = 75% 10 Minutes = 70% 30 Minutes = 70% 60 Minutes = 70% How do payouts work? Payouts are determined by the payout percentage and if a trade expires in or out of the money. The payout percentage is determined by the asset and expiry time. For instance, if you invest $1000 for a 60 second expiry with a 75% payout and your option expires in the money, you will receive a $750 return. What do the terms In the money and Out of the money mean? In the money, means that a trade is in a profitable position moving in the direction that you had predicted. When a trade is Out of the money it means that it is in a negative position moving in the direction you did not predict. Do your payouts vary? Yes, our payouts vary based on expiration times, as well as market conditions. Can payouts, expirations, and availability of the products change? Yes, all of these can change at any time without prior notification to the client. 15

17 FAQ Do your Binary Options operate on MT4? Yes, the DirectFX Binary Options offering operates on MT4. How do I make deposits/withdrawals from Binary Option on MT4? Click on the Funding tab on the top of our website and select either Deposit or Withdrawal Funds. Additionally, you can fund in your secure client area. How can I transfer funds from my MT4 Forex account to my MT4 Binary Options account? You can transfer funds instantly from one account to another via the secure client portal. Simply locate the Transfer Funds tab on the left tools bar. Select the accounts you wish to transfer between, and press Send Request. The funds will instantly be transferred. I opened a Live Trading Account, why can I not find all of the Binary Options? Once you have opened your DirectFX FX Lite platform, right-click on the Market Watch on the left side of the MT 4 platform and select Show All. 16

18 FAQ Can I trade using an Expert Advisor (EA)? Yes, DirectFX allows EA trading on Binary Options. However, in order to provide first class execution for all of our clients if we detect EA s providing significant amounts of orders we will disable that EA from trading. How do I login to trade Binary Options? To login to trade binary options make sure your DirectFX MT4 client front end is not opened. Next, locate the DirectFX FX Lite icon on your desktop and double-click on the icon. A login window will appear, type in your account information and select the correct server. Next press login at which time the DirectFX MT4 Client Terminal will launch and Binary Options will be tradable. *You cannot login directly to the DirectFX Client Terminal to trade binary options, you must go through the above route or it will not work. *The first time you login to trade it will prompt you to select an MT4 client terminal to trade from. Please make sure you have selected the Direct FX MT4 Client Terminal. If you do not select this it will not work. 17

19 FAQ How do I place a Binary Options Trade? To place a binary options trade, in the Market Watch window double-click on the product/pair you wish to trade. A window will pop out with the Binary Options trading options. How do I select how much money I want to invest? Once the Binary Options trade window is open go to the Investment area at the top of the window. You can either click the drop down menu to select from predefined options, or type in any amount you wish to bet. Please note if you exceed the maximum allowable investment it will advise as such on the bottom of the window; and then the window will disappear with the trade being placed. How do I set my expiration? To set your expiration open the Binary Options trade window. In the upper right hand corner of the window click on the drop down arrow next to Expiry. You must select a time period from the choices available. 18

20 FAQ Where do I see what my payout is? To see you payout double click on the product you wish to trade, when the Binary Options trade window populates select the amount you wish to invest, and the expiration time. Once these are set the payout percentage and amount will appear in the right hand side of the Binary Options trade window. How do I know if I won/lost? Once the trade is placed a countdown timer will appear in the Binary Options trade window. Once the time on the trade has expired in the center of the countdown timer will appear, Won or Loss. Additionally you can go into the account history section of your MT4 to view your activity. If you have won on a trade you will see a deposit for the amount won, and a debit for the amount lost. 19

21 FAQ- DEMO Why are all your Binary Options not available on demo? Our demo is intended to demonstrate how our Binary Options function. To gain access to all of our tradable products open a live Binary Options account. Do demo accounts expire? Yes, after 30 days. What are your trading hours for Binary Options? Our hours are 24 hours a day, 5 days a week. Can I trade Binary Options during News Events? Yes, Direct FX offers Binary Options during news events. 20
