AIFMD The Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) was passed by the European Parliament in July 2013 with the aim to enhance the transparency and level of disclosure of all institutional funds that were previously outside of the scope of EU financial regulation. These funds include, but are not limited to private equity, infrastructure, private debt and real estate funds. As a Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Debt specialist, Alter Domus was involved in working groups to shape the implementation of the Directive. We have also worked closely with our clients to understand their challenges and opportunities under the Directive. This close collaboration with the industry and Regulators has allowed Alter Domus to assist its clients throughout the Directive s implementation and beyond. This allows our clients to focus on asset growth and investment management activities whilst the Alter Domus team of financial professionals administers their funds through back, middle and front office procedures. As a third party AIFM, we assist our clients during the set-up or transfer of their investment funds, designing investment structures and strategies adapted to a broad scope of investments and investors. The state-of-the-art solutions which we can provide reflect the insights and experience generated by our global investment fund platforms. We offer clients greater flexibility in the management, administration and distribution of their investment funds. Alter Domus complies with the highest regulatory and risk management standards and thanks to our full AIFM License suite, we can support any asset management strategies.
