2 Executive Advisory Service Pamplona Corporate is a boutique corporate advisory firm seeking to differentiate itself from traditional corporate advisory firms in several areas, including offering personal financial services to corporate executive individuals and their families. We have found that by providing this family office approach to advice allows for a broader and more intimate understanding of the corporate executive s personal financial situation and specific motivations. The key to our success is being able to build long term trusted relationships both personally and professionally with key executive clients. It is important to note that most key people in businesses don t actually realise the impact of them not being there or able to continue in this role. We pride ourselves on being completely transparent, succinct and highly respectful in all of our dealings so you will know where you stand at all times. It is important to understand the specific areas you may have an exposure or deficiency to and then with our guidance and advice, be able to make informed decisions to provide adequate solutions to and protection in these areas. Specifically, the team at Pamplona Corporate can offer the following to key corporate executives: Asset and Family Insurance Protection; Super (including Self-Managed Super Funds) Advice and services; Estate Planning; Business Succession Planning; Investment Management Services.

3 Asset and Family Protection Asset and family protection deals with your personal and family insurance protection matters. Do you currently have appropriate insurance cover in place in the event of severe disability or death cover to protect your family? Have you recently reviewed your personal insurance cover to ensure that you and your family are protected and are not under-insured in the event of an unsuspected health issue, accident or death? Pamplona Corporate can review your insurance to ensure that you are appropriately covered in the event of an unsuspected accident, severe disability or death and most importantly ensure your family have comfort that financial matters can be taken of. We can review your current policy to maintain or update it or if required. Insurance policies change over time and we may need to implement a new policy in light of your current financial circumstances. Super and SMSF s As superannuation and specifically SMSF specialists we can: Review your existing SMSF ensuring it remains compliant with the current rules. Many SMSF s we see have not been reviewed for some years and this lends itself to increased audit and compliance risk; Review your Investment Strategy and ensure it is up to date and that you are satisfied with the underlying investments and costs associated in running the fund; Advise and develop an investment strategy should one not exist or has expired. If you don t have an SMSF, we can discuss the pros and cons and of running an SMSF in comparison to an industry or retail super fund. SMSF s can provide tremendous investment flexibility and as our landscape changes they are a very good tax effective vehicle to have in your personal investment toolkit.

4 Estate Planning In essence, Estate Planning is how and where your wealth ends up when you die. It is vitally important to know and evaluate who and where your assets will end up with in the event of death. We can review and implement a strategy of where you would like your assets to end up and who you would like to preside over those assets in the event of death. Business Succession At some stage you may decide to leave your business and sell, retire or go and live on a secluded island. Regardless of the reason, having a succession (or exit) plan in place will help you smoothly transition out of your business. You can start succession planning years ahead of time, having a plan can be useful if there is an unexpected event, such as illness or death. Without a plan, the future of your business can be at stake. Early planning also helps you maximise the value of your business and most importantly how this can be funded by partners or new owners. Investment Management Service In providing a true investment management service, we have developed a unique offering that aims to capture wholesale investors with wide ranging risk tolerances. Our 80/20 strategy combines prudent and well supported investment management for 80% of your portfolio and we have allowed for a lever to hold up to 20% of your total portfolio in screened and vetted opportunities that we are privy to in our corporate dealings. Typically, the Core portfolio will take a sustainable yield focus, that allows for consistent cash flow to feature in the portfolio to help fund ongoing expenses. The opportunity component of the portfolio will consist of private placements, new IPO s and corporate opportunities not normally available to the general public. We have an extensive network to be able to source quality investment opportunities with the aim to provide robust growth within the overall portfolio.

It is important to note this is the safe or predictable component of your investment portfolio. Getting the asset mix right will drive returns over time. By combining a diverse range of assets we will not only provide a predictable yield outcome, we will also aim to preserve capital in more volatile times. Our investment team screens all recommended opportunities in this component of your portfolio. We will not necessarily invest in every one, however, by obtaining a mandate to be able to allocate funds to these types of opportunities gives greater flexibility. We understand that growth is important and given the types of opportunities offered in this part of the portfolio should represent the growth component of the portfolio.
