1 ISLAMIC MONEY MARKETS AND SUKUK COURSE DESCRIPTION This Islamic Finance and Capital Markets course gives an overview of the Tradability of Sukuk, also known as Islamic bonds, and the development of Islamic Money Markets. You will learn about the different instruments and components of an Islamic Money Market. We will also discuss the role of money markets and the need for Shari ah-compliant sources of funds. Pre-requisites No previous knowledge in Islamic finance and banking is needed, but a basic knowledge of business concepts is advantageous. To pass this course, you will need to attain a course average of at least 60 percent. Students who pass the course will receive a certificate of completion. These certificates will be issued a few days after the course closes. The course closes on May 23, 2017, at 12pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), so if you want a certificate you will need to have 60% or higher by that time.

5 What is the Deadline for Weekly Assessments? The Course contains several types of Assessments, namely, knowledge check simple questions that usually follow vides and end of the week assessments which are machine graded. Moreover, assessments also include essay questions and week summary. The Essay Questions are evaluated by peers. There are also 15 questions at the end of each week. There will be also a final exam at the end the 4th week.
