Coverage A: Minimum $100K - Maximum $750K ($1M with approval) ITV: Homes must be insured to 100% of Replacement Cost Location: Primary target Harris County and surrounding area. However, program is state-wide. Loss History: Property with more than three (3) losses during the previous 36 months is not eligible. All risks are subject to a review for prior losses. Minimum Written Premium: A $400 minimum premium will be applicable to all policies. Occupancy: Must be an owner occupied primary dwelling or secondary/seasonal 1
2 Deductible The standard deductible of 1% is applicable to both Clause #1 (Wind) and Clause #2 (AOP); Deductible for Clause #1 (Wind) cannot be less than Clause #2 (AOP) Deductible Options: 1%, 2% and 5% Discounts Accredited Builder Affinity Group Age of Dwelling Companion Policy (credit given for policies written within the agency) Auto Specialty (such as Umbrella, Watercraft, Inland Marine, Dwelling Fire, Mobile Home, ATV, etc.) Flood Life Green Policy Impact Resistant Newly Purchased - for homes purchased within the last 3 years Non-Smoker Partially Renovated Home - for updated Electrical, Heating/Cooling, Plumbing and ing Protective Devices Secured Community Senior Discount - for insureds that are 55 and over 2
3 Insurance Score This is an Insurance Score program. The difference between a credit score and an insurance score is substantial, and it is worth knowing. The credit score is a number that represents the overall credit worthiness. It encompasses everything you have ever done credit-wise, from the very first credit card to the bills that are paid and rental history. Think of it like a permanent financial record. Whether buying a house, applying for a department store charge card or looking to purchase car insurance, the credit score will factor into all decisions. An insurance score, on the other hand, is based in part on the credit score, but it involves much more pertaining to one s insurance history. Don t think that a credit score is the same thing as an insurance score. They are mutually related, though, and one can affect the other. Trampolines and Animals - automatically excluded (A Dog Liability Buyback is available) Swimming Pools - are not automatically excluded, but will be excluded if unfenced or if they have a diving board and/or slide. Windstorm, Hurricane & Hail Exclusion - this endorsement is optional in all Texas Windstorm Insurance Association eligible areas except Cameron, Galveston and Willacy counties and the portion of Harris county east of Hwy
4 $100 - fully earned $275 - fully earned (if High Value Inspection is required) Policy : Primarily ISO forms. Base policy is the ISO Homeowners 3 - Special Form. Previous Cancellations/Non-Renewals: Risks previously canceled or non-renewed by another insurer must be referred to company prior to binding., Methods & Options This is a Direct Bill program. Agency sweeps or Premium Financing will not be allowed. Acceptable payment methods are: EFT; insured s check; title company check; mortgage company check; cashier s check; or money order. Credit Card will be coming soon. options are as follows: Insured Pay: Full - the agent will need to collect 100% of the total premium from the insured. 2-Pay - Down payment = 50% + Policy Fee 4-Pay - Down payment = 25% + Policy Fee Monthy - Down payment = 25% + Policy Fee Mortgagee Pay: Full payment - TWFG will bill 100% of the premium to the mortgage company. The agent will not collect any funds from the insured nor will any funds be swept from the agent s trust fund with this option. NOTE: There is a $5 fee for each installment under all payment installments. 4
5 Modular homes are acceptable. Manufactured/Mobile homes are unacceptable. Modular and Manufactured/Mobile homes are commonly referred to as factory-built housing, but they are not identical. Modular homes are transported on flatbed trucks rather than being towed and lack axles and an automotive-type frame. Structures: Only single family dwellings are eligible. A duplex is okay if the insured owns the complete building. Townhouse/Rowhouse Each unit must be separated by parapet walls or adequate masonry firewalls. There must be a maximum of 8 units per building. ACV Coverage - will automatically be applied to all composition roofs between years of age. Exclusion - will automatically be applied to all composition roofs over 25 years of age. Cosmetic Damage to Exclusion - is mandatory for all metal, tile and slate roofs. 5
