The claimant-darrell Collins s 1998 Honda Civic was struck and later determined to be a total loss after our insured s daughter struck this vehicle on West Pea Ridge Rd near Huntington. The 1998 Honda Civic was towed from the scene at the request of the Cabell County Sheriff Department, who contact Thompson s Auto Service 1941 Seventh Ave Huntington, WV ( or ) The vehicle sat in storage for approximately 37 days until our adjustor completed the claim and had the vehicle moved to Copart Auto Salvage in Hurricane, WV. After the vehicle was sold at auction, we received the final invoice from Copart which included advance charges paid by Copart in the amount of $1, These charges were described in the Copart invoice as Tow service- $175.00, Storage- $ and First Tow into East End- $ The billing we received with the Copart invoice was from East End Body Shop Ferris Court, Huntington, WV ( ) and describes the charges as Towing $ (original tow bill& storage) and storage $ (our storage).
