1 Press Release for immediate release Digiable E-learning Program Wins Allianz EMPOWERED Competition 2017 Digital-based innovation ideas dominated the finalists proposal of Allianz EMPOWERED Competition (AEC) 2017 All proposals submitted highlighted business ideas that have a positive social impact, especially for people with disability AEC 2017 winners receive funding and training to support the implementation of their proposal Jakarta, 21 December Jakarta, 21 December Allianz Indonesia proved its commitment to support the empowerment of people with disability in Indonesia through Allianz EMPOWERED Competition (AEC) at a national level. This competition started on 27 July to 15 October 2017, and opened for public who have special concern to the development of microbusiness owned by people with disability [Read: Allianz Indonesia Sebarkan Semangat Membantu Wirausaha Penyandang Disabilitas melalui EMPOWERED Competition ). AEC is part of the EMPOWERED (Economic Empowerment for Entrepreneur with Disability) core program that aims to support people with disability who own small business by providing financial management and entrepreneurship training and also mentoring. AEC is held following the success of the EMPOWERED program that has assisted 7 disabled communities in Central Java, Yogyakarta Special Region and DKI Jakarta with a total of 133 participants. "We hope that more stakeholders can together support people with disability in order for them to have equal access to information, economy and mobility. Through AEC, Allianz collaborates with parties who have great concern toward the empowerment and efforts to achieve equality for people with disability. We fully support the bright ideas from the finalists so the program could be sustainable and it benefits can be maximized," said Indra Yuliawan, Head of CSR Allianz Indonesia.

2 The finalists of Allianz EMPOWERED Competition pose for a photo together with the judges The EMPOWERED Competition Finals Five best finalists out of 71 participating proposals present their program ideas in the finals of AEC on 30 November 2017, in Jakarta. The finalists highlighted that the main problem for people with disability is limited access and mobility. Therefore, the finalists considered that digital innovations can become the solution to empower people with disability, with a wider and infinite coverage area. The team of judges who assess the finalists were consists of Indra Yuliawan, Head of CSR Allianz Indonesia, Edwar Fitri, President Director of Bina Mitra Usaha Nusantara who partnered with Allianz in running the EMPOWERED core program, and Greta Joice Siahaan, Deputy Director of Literacy and Financial Education Financial Services Authority. 3 The first winner, Chevy Andhika and Kelvin Wirawan from Jakarta, proposed an idea to conduct e-learning where group of disabled people can join in order to develop their business and equipped with the knowledge of financial planning and management, as well as ways to optimize marketing strategies through social media. This program will invite public figures, a disabled person who has successfully made a name for themselves, who will deliver the material via an online video platform, so that the e-learning material can be widely accessed. Difa City Tour empowers people with disability in transportation and tourism industry The second winner, Triyono from Yogyakarta, is the founder of Difa City Tour, a special motorcycle taxi service that is driven by people with disability. In this competition, Triyono submitted a proposal to develop Difa City Tour business for fleet expansion, drivers equipment such as uniformed jackets and helmets, and back office operational needs. Triyono hopes his special motorcycle taxi business can be further developed so that its service can be enjoyed by more people in Yogyakarta city, and even to other cities across Indonesia.

4 Training and producing livestock feed without forage crops for disabled cattleman The third winner, Hardiyo from Yogyakarta, is an activist in a non-profit disabled organization that supports the economic empowerment of disabled people and their family. Hardiyo proposes the idea of a training program on the making of livestock feed without forage crops and the procurement of appliances to meet the needs of disabled cattleman. The main purpose of this proposal is to provide knowledge about alternative livestock feed with ingredients that are available in the areas where they live as a solution to the high prices of livestock feed, especially when during the dry season. The implementation of the three proposals that won AEC will be supported by Allianz Indonesia through a one year mentoring, and the winners are also qualified for a cash gift to realize their program with the following amount, Rp 40 million (first winner), Rp 25 million (second winner) and Rp 15 million (third winner). After the AEC finals, five finalists, each represented by two of its member, joined a training and briefing for 4 days, where the finalists received valuable knowledge for the development and implementation of their programs in the future. Hopefully they can transfer their knowledge to the targeted community that they support.

5 Training and briefing for finalists of AEC 2017 The finalists receive knowledge on Social Business Model Canvasing method and Financial Plan for Business and Family, where the finalists learn about mapping and planning of social business to ensure the benefit of the business is sustainable, together with its social impact. After that the finalists join the sharing session to share their experiences regarding the strategies taken during implementation that suits best the target community that they support. The finalist also joined other session on OJK financial literacy, Allianz Sekoci Microinsurance product knowledge and Digital Marketing to complement their training. "Allianz EMPOWERED Competition can become a catalyst of change and social equality which can also inspire the public to also give contribution. As a finalist, me and my partner earned many benefits from a series of training and briefing activities that complement AEC. We will then share this knowledge to our friends in disabled communities so that they can also develop themselves," said Chevy Andhika, the first winner of AEC.
