Members are also expected to introduce themselves and exchange business cards with other concierges and industry professionals whenever possible. A member is expected to attend as many invitations as possible. RSVP An RSVP is required by the deadline in order to attend an event. Should a member need to cancel an RSVP, every effort must be made to contact the venue host and an Officer of the Association. If an RSVP is not given, a Member cannot attend the event. These invites are to further your knowledge on options for our guests to consider during their visit. Membership may be terminated for two meeting, charity or event no-shows within one term. We hold the membership to high standards of ethics to maintain the integrity of our profession to encourage more invitations to come our way, not discourage them. Demeanor Members attending an event are representing the SNHCA and are expected to maintain the professional demeanor expected of a Concierge. Behavior deemed by the Officers of the Association to be inappropriate at any event is subject to disciplinary action. Guest Policies If an invitation permits a guest to attend, the guest will be required to abide by all policies regarding conduct at events or meetings.
