2 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The following report presents an analysis of the New Mexico ERB private equity portfolio and private equity portfolio performance as of the third quarter of All data is as of September 30, The New Mexico ERB Private Equity Portfolio experienced a positive third quarter return of 2.25% and a one year return of 19.49%. The private equity portfolio has achieved since inception return of 12.47% and a multiple on invested capital of As of quarter end, the Plan had $1.84 B in net commitments to 49 private equity funds managed by 37 different fund managers. The table below summarizes the status of portfolio in the quarter. The exhibit shows that the distressed allocation is expected to remain close to 15% as the current allocation and total strategy exposure are similar, while the co-investment allocation is expected to grow as the total exposrue of 18% is larger than the current invested exposure of 14.5%. 6
