Willem Cornelissen started his career with long-term assignments in national and regional economic planning (Panama, Malawi and Peru). After having been employed by the United Nations Department for Technical Cooperation for Development and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he joined the then Netherlands Economic Institute, where he became involved in project and programme evaluations. After his graduation in Public Administration (2003) he conducted research and delivered courses in the field of Public Finance Management. Currently he provides services in (1) large scale policy and impact evaluations and (2) studies and courses in Public Finance Management. Willem Cornelissen is fluent in English and Spanish, has a working knowledge of French and has sound skills in management, research, lecturing and training.
