3 Service, Commitment, Excellence When you place your accounts with Optima a process is immediately set in motion unlike any other in the industry. This process, known as The Optimator, provides the Opti-mization of your bad debt, putting it on the path to recovery! Without giving away all of Optima s trade secrets here are some of the highlights of this process. Automated series of skip tracing searches. These searches immediately ferret out debtors who are deceased or who have filed bankruptcy. They correct bad addresses, find new phone numbers, and identify debtors who have filed suits against collection agencies or creditors for FDCPA, FCRA or HIPAA matters. Five different vendors are utilized in these searches. Scoring. Optima contracts with an industry-leading provider of statistical-based scoring metrics and analytical decision solutions. The information obtained enables Optima to increase efficiencies, make better decisions, help allocate resources and reduce costs. Optima obtains 2 different scores on new accounts 1) a statistical probability that an account will be paid in a given amount of time and 2) a prediction of the amount that will be paid. No credit bureau data is required to produce these scores by our vendor. Segmentation of Accounts. Optima takes full advantage of the industry-leading software provider it employs to segment accounts in the most advantageous ways possible to enhance collection. Using sophisticated logic developed over a period of years accounts can be grouped in a variety of ways, such as by balance, client type, type of debt, score, geographical location, service date, and date listed with the agency. The accounts within these groupings can then be worked with many differing methods, such as by age in the agency or list date (oldest to newest and vice-versa), balances (highest to lowest and vice-versa), scores (best to worst, etc.) and time of day (by time zone or evening/weekend calls to debtors with no work phones). Payments. There are many easy ways to pay Optima. In addition to the U.S. mail or paying in person a debtor can call payments in by telephone 6 days a week or make payment at the website any time, day or night. Payments may be made by EFT or credit card (MC, VISA, AMEX) at no charge to the debtor. Client Access Benefits: Clients can view up-to-the-minute reports online Reduces calls to client services representatives Clients can make individual updates, add new accounts and post payments in real time Client access is available using only a browser-no other hardware or software requirements Clients have access 24/7 Debtor Access Debtors can view and optionally update account information through a secure logon. Debtors can view basic account information, create payment arrangements based on agency-defined payment arrangement tables, make payments by check or send comments to the agency.
