But the names and the sales pitch can be very confusing. Scams can sound like honest efforts but your money goes to support a con man s lifestyle or a phone solicitor s salary not the stated intention of the charity. We should not let these scoundrels get away with this when there are so many worthy causes. We ll help you determine whether you can benefit from: Name (please print)_ Member No. Our relationships with these charities are based on trust. Donors trust the organizations they support to fulfill their stated mission and to use their gifts appropriately. They expect the charity to follow both IRS regulations and the law. AND they expect the funds that they donate, or at least a major part of those funds to accomplish the stated mission of the charity rather than to enrich collectors and the operators. Are you on the fence about refinancing? Please reserve places. We Americans can be very generous people. Our hearts go out to the less fortunate and we willingly give our hard earned dollars to any charity that touches our heart. Those donations are generally tax deductible based on IRS rules that allow them to act as charities. The vast majority of these charitable organizations follow those rules. However, a very small number of fraudulent entities and scams abuse the trust we have in the people who run these charities. They prey upon our emotions and good intentions by posing as charities. until you can check them out.
