4 A Few Key Points on Filling Out the OBF Workbook Make sure to use the most current version of the OBF Workbook (updated May 2015); your rep will be able to access this via the PG&E intranet site Filling out the workbook is technically the PG&E Account Rep s responsibility Our Loan Processing team will only accept workbooks that have been reviewed and submitted by our reps Some portions of the workbook can only be filled out by the rep (e.g., customer SAID, taxpayer ID info) That said We know often it s the contractor who ends up doing a lot of the paperwork So the better you re trained on this, the faster you ll be able to help move your projects forward

10 Project Costs and Savings Part 1: Lighting Allowance Worksheet Note: for non-government customers only, Basic (non-led) lighting may not exceed 20% of project costs. Enter Project (TIF) # Fill in cost of basic (non-led) lighting and associated rebates Fill in cost of all other measures and associated rebates Note: for mid/upstream measures report net costs with rebate amount of $0 That s it!

Select building type from dropdown Enter approximate year the building was built Select Program Channel (3P/GP/Core) from drop-down Note: If climate zone is not autopopulated, make sure the Site Zip Code is filled out on the Screening Tab (tab 1)

Fill in the measure code Fill in the measure quantity (units) Select the rebate type (Downstream/Midstream/ Upstream) from the drop-down For 3P/GP projects be sure to fill in the rebate amount on the right-hand side (it will autopopulate for Core channel projects)
14 Side Note: Using Actual or Site-Specific Savings for Projects To support OBF program goal of Bill Neutrality on all of our loans, OBF program allows actual savings to be used for calculating loans For Deemed projects, default is to use Deemed or Prescribed savings for each measure from DEER database & PG&E work papers Savings can be far from what customer will actually see OBF program allows vendors/implementers to submit their own calculations for actual energy savings expected from project Using these savings is 100% optional, based on what the customer would prefer Under any scenario, loan payments are sized to equal projected monthly energy savings

24 Title 24 Costs in OBF OBF Program can help customers with certain costs associated with new Title 24 requirements Permitting and other equipment directly related to the incentivized/rebated EE equipment can be included in the OBF loan Example occupancy sensors that will be required to be installed in order for an LED lighting upgrade to comply with Title 24 requirements As before, costs not directly related to the installation of incentivized/rebated EE equipment will not be eligible To attempt to meet bill neutrality, actual savings from the project can be used to calculate the loan
