3 2013 Employee Benefit Scheme Terms and Conditions: The offers are valid until 30 th June, 2013 (the Promotional Period ), unless otherwise specified. 1. Auto Payroll Terms and Conditions apply. Please contact our branch staff for full details. 2. All-in-on Account The SupremeGold welcome offers valid until 31 st January, Please refer to the relevant leaflet for details. 3. Insurance Plans Designated insurance plans include the Personal Accident Insurance and Hospital Medical Insurance (annual payment mode only), and cash coupon will be delivered to eligible customers by ordinary post within 4 months from the date of policy issuance, provided that the policy is still in force. The Bank of East Asia, Limited ( BEA ) and Blue Cross (Asia-Pacific) Insurance Limited reserve the right to charge the customer the retail price of any coupons given if said customer cancels the relevant policy. The cash coupon is offered on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last. 4. BEA Credit Card The promotional period runs from 2 nd January to 29 th June, 2013 (both days inclusive) unless otherwise specified. A perpetual annual fee waiver will be granted to the principal cardholder who maintains a valid designated BEA banking account (designated accounts include all deposit accounts, mortgage loans, consumer loans, and MPF accounts). The annual fee waiver will also apply to all relevant supplementary cards. Other customers will be entitled to an annual fee waiver for the first 2 years. To qualify for the welcome gift of HK$300 in SOGO Gift Certificates, (i) the customer must submit an application form during the promotional period and the application must be approved by BEA; and (ii) the new cardholder must spend at least HK$/CNY4,500 (HK$1=CNY1) on local/overseas retail purchases and/or cash advances within 2 months from the date of card issuance, inclusive of supplementary card spending which will be combined with spending made with the relevant principal card. The SOGO Gift Certificates are only available to customers who have not held a principal BEA Credit Card (excluding the BEA Corporate Card and all co-branded/affinity cards and supplementary cards) in the past 6 months. If the customer cancels his/her principal card within 12 months from the date of account opening, a welcome gift administration fee of HK$500 will be charged to the relevant account without prior notice. The welcome gift and perpetual annual fee waiver cannot be used in conjunction with the SupremeGold Account welcome offers. BEA reserves the sole right to approve or decline any BEA Credit Card application without giving any reason. Please refer to the BEA Credit Card application form (for Employee Benefit Scheme customers only) for further details and terms and conditions. 5. 4 6. General Terms and Conditions The above offers are non-redeemable and non-transferable, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers. Use of the cash coupons/gift certificates is bound by terms and conditions as prescribed by the relevant participating merchants. Please refer to the relevant promotional materials for terms and conditions of the individual offers/products. BEA makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality and availability of the products, services, and/or information provided by the participating merchants. BEA shall not be liable for any matters arising from or in connection with the products, services, and/or information. Customers should direct relevant queries and/or complaints to the participating merchants. BEA reserves the sole right to vary or cancel all or any of the above offers and/or amend or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event of any dispute, the decision of BEA shall be final and conclusive. Should there be any discrepancy between the English and the Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall apply and prevail.
