Celebrate International Credit Union Day with us on October 21 We think the whole idea of credit unions is pretty cool! Search for RMLEFCU you will see the app listed. After loading the app, you ll need to activate your access. Go to rmlefcu.org on your home computer and turn on Mobile Access under Profile through the Internet Banking sign-in to activate. 3 Financial smarts for your kids It seems like we ve all learned to be smarter with our finances the past several years, so it s a particularly good time to start imparting fiscal common sense into the next generation. Saluting Six Students 4th Annual William Threlkeld Scholarship Award This year, we had a stronger-than-ever response for our annual Threlkeld Scholarship with the result that we have six super-qualified recipients, the cream of an outstanding crop. Let s meet our winners: Brian Attending the New Mexico Military Institute as a prep school for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Brian also has his sights set on the other four U.S. Military Academies upon graduation. He also is playing on the school baseball team this year. Craig Currently working toward majors in History and Japanese at the University of Denver, Craig plans on studying for a semester in Hirakata, Japan. He is aiming for post-graduate degrees in International Affairs or Law, with the ultimate goal of serving as a Foreign Service Officer in the State Department. Jacob At the University of Wyoming, Jacob is majoring in Electrical Engineering. He s developed interest in designing artifical limbs and organs, which is his current focus in career goals. Lauren A double major in Business and Religious Studies at Regis University has Lauren solidly focused toward her desire to become a community leader who will bring positive and unique changes to the business world. Marissa With a goal of becoming a pediatric oncological nurse, Marissa is working toward her Biomedical Sciences degree at Colorado State University. Taran A combined Accounting/Master Accounting degree at University of Missouri in Columbia is preparing Taran to launch his own accounting firm and to partner with his sister s public relations firm.
