VIDARBHA ZONE CORPORATE SERVICES DEPARTMENT NOTICE FOR EMPANELMENT OF PROFESSIONALS AND CONTRACTORS UNDER DIFFERENT CATEGORIES FOR THE PERIOD 1 July, 2015 TO 30 June, 2018 Bank of India, Vidarbha Zone invites applications from professionals such as Architects, Valuers, Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors and experienced firms/personnel having sound technical knowledge, experience and financial capacity for undertaking different new/repair/maintenance etc works in Vidarbha Zone. The categories are as under: - 1. Civil Works 2. Electrical Works 3. Architects 4. Supply and installation of EPABX system, intercom, telephone instrument/wiring 5. Water Proofing Works 6. Plumbing Works 7. Painting Works 8. Steel Furniture/Computer Furniture Suppliers 9. Flex Material Board 10. Suppliers of Stationary/Computer Stationary 11. Printers 12. Courier Service The Contract works would be as under: 1. Repairs and renovations of bank owned property including civil/ electrical/plumbing/carpentry. 2. Interior furnishing works including carpentary work, electrification works, cabling, earthing UPS and computer wiring works. 3. Electrical works including AC works and Lan cabling work etc. Professional would be classified in three categories: 1. Architects : Architects will visit site, take measurements, certify area and issue certificate, prepare the layout and on approval submit the financial estimates with specification in accordance with guidelines issued by bank. They will prepare tenders and assist in evaluation of tenders and will supervise the work personally. The architect will clarify any doubts raised regarding tender documents/specification of the work etc. They will verify the quantities and specifications of materials used as per tender and recommend the bills 2. Valuers : Valuers will be responsible for conducting personal inspection of properties and for giving fair valuation reports after ascertaining market rates on bank s prescribed format. The valuers should submit valuation as per market rates, get rates and distress value of the property. He will certify the accessibility of the property. The Contractors should have minimum five years experience in the respective field and should have executed minimum two projects of similar nature and of 80% of the maximum value in the applied category during the last three years to the satisfaction of the client/customer. The average turn over

of the Contractors should be minimum three times of the maximum value in the applied category during the last three years. Interested Architects/Valuers/Contractors/ Suppliers/ Vendors should furnish details in the prescribed forms which are available on Bank s corporate website and Corporate Services Department of Bank of India, Vidarbha Zonal Office at the cost of (non-refundable) Rs.1500/- per application payable by Pay order/dd in favour of Bank of India at the following address up to 10/06/2015 along with details of projects/contracts handled during the last 3 (Three) years and project/contracts on hand, indicating name of clients, value of work/order etc. Existing empanelled professionals and contractors are also required to apply afresh. Each page of the application shall be signed and copy of Board Resolution / Memorandum of Association (whatever applicable) shall be furnished along with application. The various categories of Architects/ consultants/contractors proposed to be empanelled shall be, as per enclosed chart. The firm must have suitable experience in the field and shall have executed projects for aggregate value which should be minimum three times of the maximum value applied category during last 3 years. The empanelled valuers for Land/Building & Plant & Machinery will be paid as per the rates approved by the Bank from time to time. TDS & Service tax as per rates applicable. No other charges will be paid like travelling, halting etc. The present maximum rates are as under. Limits upto Rates approved Rs 5 lacs 2.00 % of the value(min Rs 1,000/-) Above Rs 5 lacs upto Rs 25 lacs 2.75 % of the value(min Rs 2,500/-) Above Rs 25 lacs 2.50% of the value(min Rs 6250/- Max Rs 15,000) The above rates are indicative. The bank is free to quote for the rates from the empanelled valuers before assigning the job. The empanelment will be for area under Vidarbha Zone, presently covering the branches in the District of Wardha, Chandrapur, Akola, Amravati, Buldana, Washim, Yavatmal. This advertisement is only for short listing of the Professionals & Contractors for the purpose of empanelment. The empanelment will be at the sole discretion of the competent authority of the Bank and will not give any legal rights to the Applicants for empanelment. GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM FOR EMPANELMENT OF CONTRACTORS 1. Application form for empanelment shall be submitted in sealed envelope super scribing Application for Empanelment as Architect/Valuer/Contractors/Suppliers/Vendors 2. The application shall be submitted strictly in the format as mentioned along with the supporting documents. 3. The application shall be signed by the person/s on behalf of the organization having necessary Authority/Power of Attorney to do so. Each page of the application shall be signed and copy of Power of Attorney/Memorandum of association (Wherever applicable) shall be furnished along with application. 4. If the space in proforma is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be supplemented on separate sheet stating therein the part of proforma and serial number. Separate sheets may be used for each part of application. While filling up the application with regard to list of important projects completed or on hand the applicant shall only include major works handled by the firm. 5. The ability and competence of the applicant to render required services within the specified time frame will be a major factor while deciding the empanelment of contractors. 6. The various categories of contractors proposed to be empanelled shall be as per enclosed chart. The detailed eligibility criteria are given on page 1 of the format. However Bank reserves the right to enhance the criteria in case of more number of applications in a given category. 7. The applicant should ensure that the application is hand delivered at the given address within prescribed date and time as mentioned in the advertisement. The application shall also be accepted by post/ courier. 8. Application containing false and /or incomplete information is liable for rejection. 9. The applicant should enclosed draft (non refundable) for Rs. 1500/- in favour of Bank of India, and payable at Nagpur. 10. The bank reserves right to accept or reject any or all the application without assigning any reasons whatsoever and decision of the Bank in regard to selection of Contractors/Architects/Valuers/Supplier/Vendors shall be final. 11. Registration with council of Architecture iii. Minimum 3 years work experience with suitable office set. iv.
