Recognition MEMBERSHIP ANZIIF membership offers opportunities at all career stages, starting with Allied membership, for those yet to obtain insurance qualifications and rising to the prestigious level of Fellow, for those with post-graduate qualifications and strong insurance experience. ANZIIF members (above Allied level) are classified as Certified Insurance Professionals (CIP) and are eligible to use ANZIIF post-nominals. STUDENT ALLIED AFFILIATE CIP ASSOCIATE CIP SENIOR ASSOCIATE CIP FELLOW CIP An ANZIIF post-nominal demonstrates a high level of professional competence, allowing members to stand out from the crowd. CERTIFIED INSURANCE PROFESSIONAL (CIP) The ANZIIF CIP designation demonstrates a professional s commitment to a career in insurance. CIP members must: Have an ANZIIF qualification or equivalent; Participate in 25 hours of professional development per year (25 CIP points); and 25 CIP POINTS Adhere to the ANZIIF Code of Ethics. Education ANZIIF s education model focuses on the specific skills needed by insurance professionals to keep their skill set and knowledge up to date. SKILLS UNITS ANZIIF s Skills Units are flexible, online and can be completed in 5-7 weeks. Skills Units focus on specific insurance skills and utilise real-world scenarios. They can be studied individually or combined to attain a range of qualifications. CERTIFICATES & QUALIFICATIONS Skills Units can be combined in various ways to achieve ANZIIF Certificates insurance-based qualifications representing industry standards of excellence. Traditional qualifications, offered under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF), such as diplomas, are also available. COMPLIANCE ANZIIF offers a range of Australian Securities and Investments Commission Regulatory Guide 146 (ASIC RG146) compliance solutions for financial services professionals. Compliance options are available in General Insurance, Insurance Broking and Life Insurance. RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL) ANZIIF s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows the skills and knowledge previously gained through employment, training, volunteering and life experience to be put towards attainment of an ANZIIF qualification.
