Seek clarification from your institution if you do not understand any part of this document or the general terms) Card: CHARGE CARD - AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD Date: 1 August 2018 1. What is this product about? This is a charge card with no preset limit that can be used to make payments for goods and services at participating merchants either, locally or internationally. Payment for the card account must be made in full before due date. 2. What do I get from this product? Earn 2x Membership Rewards points on everyday spend. Earn 1x Membership Rewards points for every Ringgit spent on Education Institutions, Insurance Providers, Utilities: Electric, Gas, Sanitary & Water and Petrol. No Membership Rewards points will be awarded for every Ringgit spent on Government Bodies. What are my obligations? Outstanding balance must be settled in full by due date. The Cardholder should notify Maybank within 20 days from the closing date of billing period as stated on the statement of the account should there be disputes or discrepancies. To take all reasonable precaution to prevent loss or theft of the charge Card. If the charge Card is lost or stolen the Cardholder shall notify Maybank by telephone, fax or email immediately upon discovery of lost or theft and confirm the same in writing to Maybank. The Principal Cardmember will be responsible and liable for all charges incurred by the supplementary Cardmember. 4. What are the fees and charges I have to pay? Annual fee Lifetime waiver (Principal/Supp) Financial charge N/A Late payment charge 3.5% of the outstanding repayment due, subject to a minimum of RM50, whichever is greater. What if I fail to fulfill my obligations? Late Payment Charge : If the minimum payment is not made by payment due date, a late payment charge will be levied at 1% of the unpaid retail and cash advances/withdrawal transaction outstanding balance, subject to a minimum of RM10, whichever is higher up to maximum of RM75. Right to set-off any credit balance in your account maintained with us against any outstanding balance in this charge card account without assigning reason, by giving 7 calendar days prior notice on our attention to set off a credit balance. Liability for unauthorized transactions The Cardmember shall be liable for all charges and advances whatsoever arising from all transactions, whether authorized or unauthorized, effected with the credit card. For loss or theft of the charge card, until and unless written confirmation has been received by Maybank, the Cardholder shall be remaining liable for all charges incurred. If you fail to abide by the terms and conditions of the card, we have the right to terminate your card. Cardmember will be liable for PIN based unauthorized transaction if Cardmember has: I. acted fraudulently, or II. III. IV. delayed in notifying us as soon as reasonably practicable after having discovered the loss or unauthorized use of your card, or voluntarily disclosed your PIN to another person, or recorded your PIN on the card, or anything kept in close proximily with your card. Cardmember will be liable for unauthorized transactions which require Signature card or with a contactless card, if you have I. acted fraudulently, or II. III. IV. delayed in notifying us as soon as reasonably practicable after having discovered the loss or unauthorized use of your card, or left your card or item containing your card unattended in places visible and accessible to others, or voluntarily allowed another person to use your card. 6. What are the major risks? You are required to settle the full amount by the due date. If you do not settle the full amount, you would incur higher interest rate charges on the charge card balances compared to credit card. Think about your repayment capacity when charging the charge card. If you have problems paying for your charge card balances, kindly contact us early to discuss the alternative payment. You should notify us immediately after having found that your charge card is lost or stolen.

Ahli Kad hendaklah memaklumkan kepada pihak Bank menerusi telefon, telegram atau teleks dengan serta merta selepas kehilangan atau kecurian Kad dan mengesahkan kehilangan atau kecurian tersebut secara bertulis kepada pihak Bank. Ahli Kad Utama bertanggungjawab terhadap segala perbelanjaan yang ditanggung oleh Ahli Kad Tambahan. 4. Apakah caj dan yuran yang perlu dibayar? Yuran tahunan Penepian seumur hidup (Kad Utama/ Kad Tambahan) Caj kewangan (Urus niaga runcit) N/A Denda pembayaran lewat: 3.5% daripada tunggakan bayaran balik yang perlu dijelaskan, tertakluk kepada bayaran minimum sebanyak RM50, mengikut mana-mana yang lebih tinggi.

Caj yang dilakukan di dalam matawang asing selain daripada Dolar Amerika akan terlebih dahulu ditukarkan kepada Dolar Amerika sebelum ianya ditukarkan kepada Ringgit Malaysia. Bagaimana jika saya gagal melaksanakan kewajipan-kewajipan saya? Caj Lewat Bayar: :Jika pembayaran balik minima tidak dijelaskan pada tarikh matang, caj 1% akan dikenakan daripada baki belum jelas transaksi pembelian runcit dan pengeluaran tunai yang tertunggak pada tarikh penyata akaun, tertakluk pada caj minima RM10, sehingga tahap maksima sebanyak RM75. Hak untuk memindah baki: Bank berhak untuk memindahkan sebarang baki kredit dalam akaun di Bank tanpa sebarang sebab untuk membayar sebarang tunggakan akaun Kad di mana pihak Bank akan memberitahu anda sekurang-kurangnya 7 hari lebih awal. Liabiliti ke atas sebarang transaksi: Ahli Kad hendaklah menanggung liabiliti untuk segala caj dan pendahuluan walau apa sekalipun yang timbul daripada segala transaksi sama ada dibenarkan atau tidak dibenarkan, yang dilakukan menggunakan Kad anda. Untuk kehilangan atau kecurian kad caj, sehingga dan melainkan pengesahan secara bertulis telah diterima oleh Maybank, Pemegang Kad hendaklah kekal bertanggungjawab untuk semua bayaran yang ditanggung.
