You now have access to more than 150 branch and ATM locations throughout Oregon and Washington. Below you will find important information regarding the transition of your accounts and services to Columbia State Bank. Continue to bank as usual. There will be no interruption in access to your accounts. You may continue to use your VISA Debit and Credit Cards, ATM Cards, checks, online services and loan payment coupons as you always have. As a community bank, we are committed to providing the same personal level of service you expect when doing business with a neighbor. We are also committed to making the transition to Columbia as smooth as possible. While you will begin to see changes to signs and logos immediately, most of the banking services you are used to will not be changing at this time. Deposit Accounts: There are no immediate changes to the features of products, services, or your dayto-day dealings with your former West Coast Bank deposit accounts with the exception of the Simple Checking account. More information about the Simple Checking changes and general information about deposit accounts are available in the Deposit Information section on page 2. Loans: There will be no immediate changes to loan rates and terms. Please continue to make payments as you always have. More information is available in the Loan Information section on page 3. VISA Debit Cards and ATM Cards: There will be no immediate changes to your VISA Debit Card or ATM Card. As your card expires, you will receive a new one with the Columbia State Bank name and logo. Online Services: There will be no immediate changes to the way you access your Online Banking or Bill Pay services or to the features you currently use within these systems. VISA Credit Cards: There will be no immediate changes to your West Coast Bank VISA Credit Card. You may continue to use your card and should continue to make your payments according to the terms of your agreement. See page 4 for more details. Frequently Asked Questions Welcome to Columbia State Bank Merchant Card Services: There are no changes to your existing Merchant Card solutions. Please continue to use these services as you always have. What kinds of changes can I expect in the next few months? We ll be working to integrate former West Coast Bank systems to Columbia State Bank systems with a completion date scheduled for late August, 2013. Immediate changes you may begin to see will be the Columbia State Bank name and logo on signage, letters, statements, and notices. You will also begin to receive important information regarding the conversion of your accounts and services to Columbia systems as we work through the transition. Up-to-date information will always be available in the West Coast Bank Welcome Center. This center is accessible from the home page of www.wcb.com or www.columbiabank.com. Can I visit any Columbia State Bank branch to conduct my daily banking? You may continue to use your current branch to conduct your daily banking business. You may also visit any of the 99 original Columbia State Bank locations throughout Oregon and Washington to conduct the following types of transactions: Check Cashing Depositing funds to your former West Coast Bank account Loan and VISA payments For a complete list of branch locations please visit www.columbiabank.com. Can I use any Columbia State Bank ATM without paying a fee? Yes, as of April 1, 2013 you may use your West Coast Bank Debit or ATM card at any former West Coast Bank or Columbia State Bank ATM without a fee. Are any former West Coast Bank branches going to close? All former branches of West Coast Bank remain open for business with temporary Columbia State Bank signs. Usual operating hours will continue. There are about ten instances where West Coast and Columbia branches are in close proximity to each other. These branches will eventually consolidate but that is not scheduled to occur until much later in the year. In the majority of these cases, the former West Coast Bank location will remain. Information regarding branch consolidations will be posted in the branch and sent to affected customers prior to the consolidation. Deposit Information I already have accounts with Columbia State Bank. With my former West Coast Bank accounts, my deposit totals will be more than $250,000.00. Will I still be covered by FDIC insurance? Your deposits continue to be insured by the FDIC. Each depositor is insured up to $250,000; the maximum permitted by law. If you have accounts with both the former West Coast Bank and Columbia State Bank (including Bank of Astoria), your funds will be insured separately for up to six months. Certificates of Deposit (CD) from former West Coast Bank are separately insured until the earliest maturity date after the end of the six-month grace period. Frequently Asked Questions Welcome to Columbia State Bank CDs that mature during the six-month grace period and are renewed for the same term and in the same dollar amount (either with or without accrued interest) continue to be separately insured until the first maturity date after the six-month period. If a CD matures during the six-month grace period and is renewed on any other basis, it will be separately insured only until the end of the six-month grace period. Will the features of my account be the same? Your deposit accounts will continue with the same features at this time. During the systems conversion in late August, your accounts will convert to a Columbia State Bank product. We will notify you in writing prior to any changes regarding the terms of your account. Simple Checking Account Customers: The $5 monthly service charge on the Simple Checking account will be waived as Columbia State Bank conducts a review of personal deposit products. Can I use my West Coast Bank checks? You may continue to use your existing stock of West Coast Bank checks. If you run out and need to order additional checks, your new checks will carry the Columbia State Bank logo. Will the rates on my deposit account change? Deposit rates are subject to change at any time. Please check with your branch for rate information. What will happen to my automatic or direct deposits and automatic withdrawals? Rest assured all automatic or direct deposits and automatic withdrawals, including government and Social Security deposits, will continue as usual. If you need to make changes to any direct deposit or automatic withdrawal, please contact a former West Coast Bank branch to make those arrangements. Can I make a deposit at any Columbia State Bank ATM? At this time, you will not be able to make deposits at one of the original Columbia State Bank ATMs. You may make a deposit at any former West Coast ATM that accepts deposits. Will my Certificate of Deposit (CD) or IRA be affected? The term, rate and the maturity date on your CD or IRA will remain the same until maturity. We will notify you in writing prior to any changes regarding the terms of your CD or IRA at maturity. Loan Information I currently have a loan. Are the terms on my loan changing? No. The terms and conditions of your loan remain the same. How do I make my loan payments? There is no change in how you make your loan payments. You should continue to make your payments according to the terms of your loan. You may continue to use your former West Coast Bank loan payment coupons. I have a loan in process. How do I proceed? Frequently Asked Questions Welcome to Columbia State Bank Online Services Information How do I access Online Banking and Bill Pay? You may continue to access your accounts online at www.wcb.com. You will not be able to access your Online Banking or Bill Pay accounts through ColumbiaBank.com until after we ve transitioned your accounts to the Columbia State Bank system in late August. We will notify you in advance of any changes to your online services. Has my user ID or password changed? Your user IDs and passwords for all of your former West Coast Bank services remain the same. VISA Debit Card, ATM Card and VISA Credit Card Information Will I still be able to use my West Coast Bank ATM card or Debit Card? You may continue using your current West Coast Bank ATM Cards or Debit Cards. As your card expires or needs to be reissued to you for any other reason, you will receive a card with the Columbia State Bank logo and name. Can I continue to use my West Coast Bank VISA Credit Card? You may continue to use your card and make payments as you always have. Treasury Management Information What is changing with my Treasury Management services at this time? There are no immediate changes to your current Treasury Management services. You will be receiving details surrounding the conversion of your services to those offered at Columbia State Bank in the mail over the course of the next few weeks. How can I find out what Treasury Management services are offered at Columbia?
