Tender for transportation of security documents/ stationery from Zonal Stationery Cell, Sandhurst Road, Mumbai-400009, to our various branches within entire state of Maharashtra and Goa. Reputed courier service providers fulfilling the following conditions may apply in two Bid system:- Must be in courier business for a minimum period of -10-years. Must have its well-equipped Main office/sub Office with necessary infrastructure for courier service in Mumbai. Must have a valid Service Tax Number/ PAN /TAN Must have Income Tax Clearance / having filed Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years. Must have turnover for the Courier Services for Rs.10 Lacs per annum during the last three years, Must be carrying out similar work for other Nationalised Bank for last 5- years, Must be able to give a security deposit of Rs. 50,000/= and willing to enter into an agreement as per the draft to be given by the Bank, in the event of awarding of the contract, N.B. The relative documentary proof in respect of above must accompany the Tender. The contract would be for initial period of -2- years and may be extended for further period of 1 year at the same rate, subject to satisfactory services. The vendors fulfilling the above conditions may apply in two bid system i.e. Technical Bid & Financial Bid & in two separate envelops super scribing the words Technical bid for Annual Rate Contract for courier service for Zonal Stationery Cell (GMZ), Financial bid for Annual Rate Contract for courier service for Zonal Stationery Cell (GMZ), respectively and send both envelops in one single envelop marked as Tender for Courier Service for Zonal Stationery Cell ( GMZ) Mumbai. --7-- The Successful Bidder will have to give a Security Deposit of Rs. 50,000/- in the form to be decided by the appropriate authority. This amount will be released only after the termination of services. In the event of any breach of contract/tender conditions, the Security Deposit will be forfeited. The Rates quoted will be binding and valid for a period of -24- months from the date of awarding of the Rate Contract and no increase whatsoever will be considered during the contract period. The contract may be extended for further period of -12- months at the same rate at the discretion of the bank on satisfactory service record. The payment will be made by the office, within -10- days, upon submission of the bill accompanied with the required acknowledgement slips The Vendor will have to enter into conditions as approved by Bank. formal agreement containing terms and The Vendor will have to obtain a suitable insurance cover/plan for making good losses arising out of loss/damage of consignment during transit. The delivery proof will be given through duly stamped and signed receipt from the recipient, on a mutually agreed method and on periodical basis. Any delay in delivery beyond agreed period will be subject to penalty, to be determined mutually, per consignment unless the delay is beyond one s control. Any deficiency in service will be subject to penalty which shall be recovered from the bill of the agency.
