OUR HISTORY Ship s wheel from a vessel owned by the Reederei Zürich shipping company as used in the sea trial in 1952 in Hamburg. Kessler has insured the Sunadele and Sunamelia ships owned by the Reederei Zürich shipping company. The ship s wheel has been Kessler s trademark ever since Securing the competitive edge. ALWAYS LOOKING AHEAD When Johann Kessler founded his family business in 1915, he specialized in insuring cargo that was shipped all over the world. That is where our logo a ship s wheel comes from. From the very outset our clients benefited from the in-depth knowledge and practical experience of our employees, whose job it was to insure clients financially and ensure that their goods arrived safely to shore. FOCUS ON SERVING CLIENTS Kessler has grown dynamically over the years and today in its third and fourth generation operates primarily as a risk advisor and, secondly, as an insurance broker.
