The integrated euro area accounts key family THE CODES RELATED TO INTEGRATED EURO AREA ACCOUNTS IN THE ECB DATABASE ARE UP TO 49 CHARACTERS LONG. EACH DIMENSION IS SEPARATED BY A DOT: Position Dimension Symbol Dataset IEAQ 1 Frequency Q (Quarterly) 2 Reference area I6 (Euro area 17 fixed composition), I5 (Euro area 16 fixed composition), I4 (Euro area 15 fixed composition) and I3 (Euro area 13 fixed composition). 3 Adjustment indicator N (Neither seasonally or working day adjusted) 4 Valuation V (Current prices), L (Chain linked) 5 Transaction This dimension indicates for the financial accounts data the nature of the information reported. Thus, the value LE is used to report closing balance sheet (stocks), the value F to report transactions in financial instruments and the value LO to report other changes in balance sheets (stocks) other than transactions. For the non-financial accounts data this dimension indicates the transaction involved following the ESA95 classification (e.g. D1 for compensation of employees, D2 for taxes on production and imports, etc.), the value Z is used to report balance sheets data (stock) for non-financial assets. 6 Asset For the financial accounts data, this dimension provides information on the asset (instrument) classification (e.g. F41 short term loans, F332 long term securities other than shares, etc.).
