Accunts cannt be pened in the name f a business r cmpany name, in the name f a trustee f a trust r a superannuatin fund, n behalf f a deceased estate, r pursuant t a pwer f attrney. Can I pen a jint accunt? Yes, yu can pen an accunt jintly with ne ther individual. RAMS depsit accunts are limited t 2 accunt hlders. Can I pen a accunt if I m nt an existing RAMS Hme Lan custmer? If yu are an existing RAMS custmer, yu can pen a accunt by lgging int myrams using yur Custmer Identificatin Number (CIN) and passwrd. Each time yu pen an accunt that earns interest, yu ll be asked if yu wish t prvide yur TFN if nt already prvided. Where yur TFN has been prvided it will be applied t all yur accunts. Prviding us with yur TFN is advisable but nt cmpulsry. Hwever, if yu chse nt t prvide it, we are required t deduct withhlding tax at the highest marginal tax rate plus the Medicare Levy. When dn t I need t prvide a Tax File Number? Depending n yur circumstances yu may be able t claim an exemptin frm quting yur TFN, and withhlding tax will nt be deducted. Yu will need t tell us the type f exemptin yu are claiming. Hw d I prvide my TFN? Yu can prvide yur TFN at any time by lgging int myrams and ging t the Settings tab n the left hand menu, then click n My Details. Yu can then prvide yur TFN. Page 2

What infrmatin will I get when I pen my accunt? We will send a letter t yur residential address (as a security measure) t cnfirm yur new accunt details. Yu will als receive an email cnfirming yur accunt has been pened. Sectin 3. Interest What is the interest rate fr accunt? Yu can find ut the latest interest rates by visiting RAMS.cm.au Hw is credit interest calculated and paid n a accunt? Fr all accunts (unless linked t a RAMS hme lan fr ffset purpses) depsit interest is calculated n the daily clsing balance f yur accunt using the fllwing frmula: Daily clsing balance x Interest rate 365 100 Fr all accunts, balances in yur accunt n the last day f the mnth, including depsits, but excluding interest psted n the last day f the mnth, will be included in the balance n which interest fr that mnth is calculated.. Further details f the interest types that apply can be fund in the terms and cnditins n RAMS.cm.au. Hw is debit interest calculated and charged n a accunt? If yur accunt becmes verdrawn withut arrangement, debit interest may be charged t that accunt. If s, it will be calculated n the debit balance (and deducted at the end f the last day f each mnth) using the then current Unarranged Lending Rate (ULR). Interest is calculated daily n the debit balance until the accunt balance is psitive again). Will the interest rate n my accunt change? The interest rate applying t yur accunt is a variable rate and may change frm time t time. Yu can find ut the latest interest rates by visiting RAMS.cm.au Hw will I knw if the interest rate n my accunt changes? We will advertise the change in a majr newspaper r we ll advise yu by pst r email n later than the day the interest rate change takes affect. Sectin 4. Terms and Cnditins Where can I view the accunt Terms and Cnditins? Yu can view the terms and cnditins by visiting RAMS.cm.au Sectin 5. Statements When are statements issued fr my accunt? Statements are issued every six mnths, unless yu have requested statements mre frequently and they will be made available electrnically via myrams. Fr example, if yu pen yur accunt n 13 February, yur first statement will be sent t yu at yur nminated pstal address at the end f August, and then six mnthly. Page 3

Yu will receive an email t yur nminated email address when yur statement is made available fr viewing via myrams. Yu shuld keep yur email address in myrams up t date t ensure yu receive this and ther imprtant ntificatins prmptly. Can I view my statements nline? Yes. If yu pened yur depsit accunt n and frm 12 May 2012 yu will autmatically receive electrnic statements (e-statement). RAMS will advise yu via email when yu e-statement is available fr viewing via myrams. Yu shuld keep yur email address in myrams up t date t ensure yu receive this and ther imprtant ntificatins prmptly. If yu pened yur depsit accunt prir t 12 May 2012 r yu hld a mrtgage accunt and are eligible fr myrams, yu can pt-in fr e-statements nline via myrams. Simply lgin t myrams, then click n My Statements then Statement Methd and fllw the prmpts. Sectin 6. Depsits and Withdrawals What is the minimum and maximum amunt I can depsit int a accunt? There is n minimum r maximum depsit amunt. Hw can I depsit mney int my accunt? Yu can depsit funds int yur accunt by: Electrnic Funds Transfer yu can transfer funds frm any Australian bank accunt. Yu will need t prvide the BSB number fr RAMS (which is 032885) and yur accunt number. Direct credit e.g. salary credit yu can have yur salary credited directly int yur RAMS Actin accunt. Yu will need t prvide yur emplyer with the BSB number fr RAMS (which is 032885) and yur accunt number. Cheque yu can write a cheque payable t the accunt hlder(s) and drawn n an Australian financial institutin. Please ensure yu write yur full name(s) and the accunt number t which yu wish the cheque t be depsited n the back f the cheque. Yu then select Transfers n the menu, frm there yu can: Electrnic Funds Transfer (pay anyne) yu will need t prvide the accunt name, BSB and accunt number f the accunt yu wish t transfer mney t. Transfer recurring payments by Electrnic Funds Transfer (pay anyne). Transfer funds between RAMS accunts. Page 4

Yu can als pay bills electrnically via BPAY using a biller cde and a unique custmer reference number (that can be fund n yur bill near the BPAY lg). Please nte if yu are transferring funds t a payee/biller fr the first time, yu will be sent an SMS Cde with a ne time passwrd t yur Australian mbile phne. Yu will be required t enter the SMS Cde int myrams and, if accepted yu can transfer funds. The accunt t which yu wish t transfer mney must be cnducted in Australia. If yu have a debit card attached t yur, yu can als withdraw funds frm yur accunt using yur debit card via: ATM and EFTPOS - use yur debit card at any ATM r EFTPOS acrss Australia, at any ATM terminal utside Australia displaying the Cirrus lg and any EFTPOS terminal utside Australia displaying the Maestr lg Bank@Pst withdraw cash at any Australia Pst branch using yur debit card. Transferring funds t ther RAMS accunts nt within yur wn prfile (i.e. 3rd party accunts) are generally prcessed vernight. The transfer must generally be cmpleted befre the cut-ff time f 4:00 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time. Transfers t accunts with ther Australian financial institutins are generally prcessed vernight. Yu can create a regular transfer at any time via myrams. T d this, lgin t myrams and select Transfers n the menu t transfer funds. Can I cancel a payment r transfer? Yes. Yu can cancel a future dated transfer, n later than ne business day befre the transfer is due (i.e. transfers nt due fr payment tday). T cancel a payment r transfer simply lgin t myrams, and select Transfers, then g t Future transfer menu t cancel the payment r transfer. Once a payment r transfer is made we are unable t stp that transactin. Can I mdify a payment r transfer? Yes. Yu can mdify a future dated transfer r payment, n later than ne business day befre the transfer is due (i.e. transfers nt due fr payment tday). Can I use myrams t make payments r transfers t accunts at ther banks? Yes. accunt allws 'Pay Anyne' access which enables yu t transfer funds t any ther RAMS accunt(s) and any ther Australian financial institutin. Hw d I view my accunt balances? Yu can lgin t myrams and view yur accunt balances nline. Can I access my persnal r accunt infrmatin if I'm a jint accunt hlder? Yes. Yu can access infrmatin abut yur jint accunt by lgging int myrams. Hw d I change the name n my accunt? Please call 13 RAMS, that s 13 7267. We ll advise yu f the requirements t change yur name. Hw can I cntact yu frm verseas? If yu're calling frm utside f Australia, please call us n +612 9647 6967 between 7.00am and 11pm (AEST) 7 days a week. Can I make transfers t and frm my accunt when I'm verseas? Page 8

Hw lng will it take my cheque t clear? Cheques depsited int yur accunt will be subject t clearance. This usually takes 3 business days frm the date the cheque is depsited int yur accunt. Hwever, in certain circumstances this may be extended up t a further 2 business days. Hw d I prvide a nickname fr my accunts? Yu can prvide a nickname fr yur accunts by lgging int myrams and ging t the Settings tab n the left hand menu, and then click n Name my Accunts. Select the accunt yu wish t name by clicking n Edit. Hw d I change my pstal and/r residential address? Yu can change yur pstal address by lgging int myrams and ging t the Settings tab n the left hand menu, and then click n My Details.
