4 DAY INTENSIVE TRAINING: CERTIFIED CHINESE ENERGY TRADER In our seminar 4-day Intensive Training: Certified Chinese Energy Trader you will be familiarised with all the important features of modern, liberalised power markets. Portfolio management and practical examples of risk optimization such as value-neutral hedges for customer load profiles by means of hpfc (hourly price forward curve) will help you to evaluate a given portfolio by risk maps and risk indicators. You will also learn how to use chart analysis and technical trading signals for an optimal trading performance. DAY 3: TRADING PRACTICE: REALISTIC ENERGY TRADING SIMULATION Practical and realistic trading simulations apply theoretical obtained knowledge in a competitive environment. You control your own power plant portfolio and thus participate in power trading. During the computer-based trading simulation you will conduct different trading processes in the dayahead and intraday phase. You will interpret meteorological events, technical data of your power plant as well as historical market data, in order to plan your trading actions. You will optimise the power plant dispatch via trading transactions in the EPEX intraday market, across all of Europe. Trading strategies for the Chinese power market and a short written examination will conclude the third day. The package price for a 3-day seminar in China is 2.400,- EUR per person plus 600 EUR for an additional 4th day. All prices are subject to statutory value-added tax. Fees for participation in seminars and conferences are understood per person and, unless otherwise specified, cover materials for the seminars and conferences, lunch and beverages during the breaks. Cancellation (only in written form) is possible up to 28 days before the start of the event, after which a cancellation fee amounting to 75% of the participation fee shall be charged. The registration shall be deemed legally binding with our written confirmation. When cancelling within less than 7 days up to the event, the full training fee is due. If it is not feasible to hold the event because of an event of force majeure, because a speaker is unable to attend, due to disturbances at the place of venue or due to an insufficient number of participants, the participants shall be informed without undue delay. Cancellation due to insufficient number of participants shall take place no later than 7 days before the event is held. In such case, the participation fee shall be refunded. Any claim for compensation of travel and accommodation expenses or of costs incurred due to lost work time shall be excluded, unless such costs are caused by gross negligence or wilful conduct on the part of Energy Brainpool. Energy Brainpool is obliged, in the event of any possible impairment of performance, to undertake all reasonable steps to help remedy or limit the impairment.
