Notes: interest rate is an aggregate of a one year JODIBOR interest rate (as issued by The Association of Banks in Jordan) and a spread that is changed on a daily basis (except for auto loans and advances). Moreover, all examples mentioned before are for illustrative purposes only. For all retail loans the real cost is measured based on nominal interest rate and commission stated in the examples above. 1% will be added to interest rate if the loan is offered to Non Jordanians (customers not carrying a national ID number) (applicable to personal loans, housing loans and advances). For the first year a 1% granting commission is due for all loans except for advances. For advances, interest rate amount is deducted from the loan amount in advance, hence, the value delivered to the customer will be after deducting the interest amount from the loan amount shown in the above examples. For personal loans against foreign currency collaterals, a margin of 1.15% to be fixed and JODIBOR to be added on. For personal loans and advances, the above rates are applicable until further notice. Minimum interest rate offered on personal loans and advances is 9.25%, and the minimum interest rate offered on housing loans for salaried customers is 7.25%. 9
