Tax law compliance is one of the biggest challenge faced by NGO/INGO in Nepal. INGO and projects operate with partners and people in remote districts, provide grants and assistance to marginalized communities, and seek services where businesses are not formally registered. Often lack of clarity results in tax non-compliance or excess tax deductions, and ultimately impacts program budget. Bhava Nath Dahal, FCA, LLB Bhava Nath Dahal is a renowned tax consultant and trainer in Nepal and the author of the bestselling tax book titled, Income Tax and Value Added Tax, Mr. Dahal is first product of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal, qualified in 2003 and also MBA in Financial Management and LLB in Finance and Taxation from Tribhuvan University. Hear from the Experts He has worked as Tax Consultant for Inland Revenue Department (IRD), Large Taxpayers and for foreign investors in Nepal for complex double taxation and domestic tax cases. He was the Editor Consultant for Income Tax Manual for Inland Revenue Department and has served as editor for Study Material of Taxation for Professional Courseworking knowledge level and Expert level for Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal.
