Dental benefits are effective immediately for full-time employees beginning your first day of employment at Medical Solutions or during an open enrollment period. Did you know that research suggests a link between gum disease and issues like cardiovascular disease, stroke, and diabetes? Good dental health is more than a bright smile. The DPPO plan, offered through Guardian Dental Insurance Company, gives you the freedom to choose any dentist. Just be aware, you will receive the highest level of benefits when you choose a provider in the DentalGuard network (and you won t have to pay any provider charges above the amount Guardian allows for covered services). If your dentist is out-of-network, you may have to pay for charges that are over and above usual, customary, and reasonable charges for your geographic area. We offer first day vision insurance! Vision benefits are effective immediately for full-time employees beginning your first day of employment at Medical Solutions or during an open enrollment period. With the Guardian Vision Plan, you can see an in-network provider or an out-of network provider, but your costs will be lower if you visit an in-network provider. You will not receive an ID card, but don t worry, you don t need one. Just call a VSP Signature network doctor to schedule an appointment and be sure to tell them you are a Guardian Vision member. The doctor and Guardian will handle the rest! If you visit an out-of-network provider, they will pay at the time of service and submit a claim for reimbursement. Click on Menu, hover over the Myself tab, and select Open Enrollment.
