Manufacturers / authorized Dealers fulfilling the qualification criteria may collect the Tender document from Estate Management Department, Head Office or may be downloaded from Bank s website www.allahabadbank.in. 5 Liquidated damages for delay Should the work be not completed to the satisfaction of the Employer within the stipulated period, the contractor shall be bound to pay to the Employer a sum equivalent to 1% of the accepted tendered per week subject to ceiling of 10% of the accepted contract amount by way of liquidated damages and not as penalty during which the work remains uncommenced or unfinished after expiry of the completion date. 7 Payment terms No advance will be paid. However running bill during progress of work may be paid considering the progress of work. The payment will be made on the basis of actual measurements. Income tax will be deducted as per the rules. Retention Money 10% will be deducted from the bill and to be released after 12 months from the date of virtual completion provided no defects is observed during this period. Final payment will be made on satisfactory completion of the job Taxes GST To be mentioned. TDS for income tax, work contract tax etc. shall be deducted as applicable from all bills/payments made in connection with this work. ALLAHABAD BANK Head Office, 2.N.S.Road, Kolkata-01 Work: BILL OF QUANTITIES FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF MODULAR TABLE AT BANK S OFFICE BUILDING AT 14, INDIA EXCHANGE PLACE, KOLKATA-01 TERMS AND CONDITIONS:- 1) The Agency is advised to inspect and examine the sites and satisfy himself as to the condition prevailing at sites and its surrounding extent of work, scope and conditions under which the work is to be executed. The contractor shall also satisfy himself about the accessibility to the premises. 2) The agency shall submit the offer which satisfies each and every condition laid down in this notice, failing which the tender will be liable to be rejected. 3) Conditional bids shall not be considered and will be out rightly rejected in the very first instance. 4) At the time of submission, every tender must be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 5,000.00 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) in favour of Allahabad Bank payable at Kolkata herewith as earnest money. No interest will be paid on earnest money. Any tender which is not accompanied by the earnest money shall be summarily rejected. 5) No overwriting or cutting is permitted in the financial bid form. In such cases, the tender shall be summarily rejected. 6) The work shall be carried out in such a way that, there is least disturbance to the staff of Bank. 7) The rate quoted in the tenders shall be inclusive of all materials as required. 8) The rate quoted in the tender shall be inclusive of all charges of scaffoldings, lifting, tools and plants, freights, labour conditions and fluctuations in rates of excise duty, octroi, service tax and any other taxes or expenditure of carrying out the works. 9) Work will be completed within the period of 15 days from the date of issue of tender or work order whichever is earlier. If the work be not completed to the satisfaction of employer within the stipulated period, the contractor will be bound to pay to the Employer a sum equivalent to 1% of the accepted tendered value per week subject to ceiling of 10% of the accepted contract amount by way of liquidated damages and not as penalty during which the work remains uncommenced or unfinished after expiry of the completion date. 10)Contractors are required to organize the work in such a way that workings of staff, faculty and officers/executives of Bank are not affected. Contractor is required to take adequate care during progress of work to protect belongings. In case any damage, contractors at their own cost shall make the same good. 11)Contractors are required to submit time schedule of work. After completion

of work, cleaning of floors, walls etc are to be done to the satisfaction of Bank. 12)No advance will be paid. Payment will be released on satisfactory completion of job and submission of bills. Retention Money @10% will be deducted from the bill and to be released after six months from the date of virtual completion provided no defects is observed during the period. 13) All erasures and alterations to be made while filing the tender must be attested by initials of contractor. 14)The bank reserves the right to reject any or all the tender, accept part of any tender, entrust the entire work to any contractor or divide the work to more than one contractor (item wise)without assigning any reason or giving any explanation. The rates quoted by the contractors will help well for bifurcation and no compensation will be paid on this account. 15)The contractor should quote in figures as well as in word the rate and amount tendered by them. The amount of items should be worked out and the requisite total is to be given. 16)After completion of jobs, the site shall be cleared of all rubbish in all respect. All holes shall be filled up and finished as per existing finishes. 17)The brief description of items of work to be carried out is given in PRICE BID. 18)Contractor will arrange necessary tools and plants for completing own work at their cost. In case of any accident the total responsibility will be on the contractor. 19)All the defects caused in the work order period and for next twelve months from the date of completion of job shall be got rectified by the contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be payable on this account. 20)If an extension of time of completion of the work is sought on the grounds of having unavoidable hindrances in its execution or any other ground, the contractor shall apply in writing to the officer in - charge of the Estate Management department with full details of the circumstances which is causing such an extension. All the decisions in this regard taken by the Bank shall be binding to the contractor. 21)Any extra work or item can only be started by contractor once they get approval from the Estate Management Department. Any item if put or work done will not be paid until & unless they got prior approval from the Estate Management Department.
