CREDITS Refer to the Sequence Rating Section for the order of multiplication and rounding rules. 1. New Construction Credit Rules and application of program: a. The credit may be applied to homes written under Forms 1, 3, 5, 33 and 55. b. The credit applicable is to be applied to the basic policy premium; refer to sequence rating, page R-1. c. Credits apply to new and renewal (extension) business, but will not be applied to policies mid-term. d. The credit schedule is based upon the calendar year. A home built in December 2000 would be one year old in January 2001. Refer to page R-5 for factors. 2. Package Credit Forms 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 33 and 55 A Package Credit will be given for insureds who also write their automobile coverage with Oregon Mutual Insurance Company or Western Protectors Insurance Company. Refer to page R-5 for factors. 3. Protective Device Credits (H216) A policyholder is eligible for a premium credit for the installation of an approved and properly maintained burglary or fire alarm system. The credit is applied to the basic premium; refer to pages R-1 through R-3 for sequence rating method. a. Only one credit from category (1) below may be applied per dwelling. (1) Fire and Burglary Detection Systems (a) Local burglary alarm with gong installed outside of the building (local)... 5% (b) Fire and police department alert (control station)... 5% (c) Central station burglary and fire alarm systems (central station)... 10% b. Functional Replacement Cost Loss Settlement With Building Code Upgrade Coverage (H157) The policy may be endorsed to provide Functional Replacement Cost coverage for the primary residence located on the insured premises and detached garages used solely for private garage purposes. The dwelling and garage must be insured for 100% of the current functional replacement cost. This endorsement provides up to 125% of the purchased Coverage-A, stated on the Declaration, for functional replacement cost. The Functional Replacement Cost endorsement (within the 125% limit) includes up to 10% of the residence Coverage-A limit for Ordinance and Law Coverage. The limit for Ordinance or Law will print on the Declaration page. Form 3, 5, 33 and 55 The charge is 1.5%. Refer to page R-5 for factor and to Sequence Rating Section for order of multiplication. 10. Replacement Cost Provisions with Building Code Upgrade Coverage (H156) The charge is 2.5%. Refer to page R-5 for factor and to Sequence Rating Section for order of multiplication. 11. Homeowners Association Loss Assessment, Excluding Earthquake and Volcanic Eruption (H050) The charge is $1.00 per $1,000 of coverage ($5,000 minimum limit). 12. Homeowners Association Loss Assessment for Earthquake and Volcanic Eruption (H053) The following rates apply for frame construction: $0.075 per $100 of insurance 13. Money, Securities, and Jewelry (H265) Some coverage is automatically provided for these items under the basic Homeowners Forms. (Review the contracts for details.)
