Third party certification introduced for medium risk industries and self-certification for low risk industries

Addition of New Services. In addition to 24 pre establishment approvals, 4 Approvals from Labor Dept are included, making total pre establishment approvals to 28 under ambit of TS-iPASS. Approval Name Registration of Principal Employer's establishment under provision of The Contracts Labor (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 License for contractors under provision of The Contracts Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970 Registration under The Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 Registration of Establishment under Inter State Migrants Workmen (RE&CS) Act,1979 Similarly, in addition to 6 pre-operational approvals, 2 approvals pertaining to Labor and 1 pertaining to Legal metrology are included making total pre Operational approvals to 9 under ambit of TSiPASS. Before TS-iPASS TS-iPASS 1. Separate application to be filled up and submitted at department for each approval. 2. Bulky physical application involving up to 100+ documents to be submitted 3. Payments only cash/ DD/ challans that necessitated visit to different offices. 4. Multiple visits to the departments 1. Single common application form for all state level approvals and submitted online. The same is processed by all departments. 2.Rationalised attachments being sought by departments. Now, only 12 documents required for all approvals 3. Easy and safe online payments 4. Zero visits needed. End-to-end solution. Approvals can be downloaded online.

Before TS-iPASS 5. Delay in processing of approvals by various departments since departments insisted on NoC from other Departments to process approvals 6.Limited accountability of services and no tractability of status 7.Shortfalls/Queries being asked by different departments at different times and many a times more than once, by the same department. TS-iPASS 5.Approvals for Mega projects within 15 days and for any other projects within a maximum time period of 30 days. Process initiated based on self-certification and all Departments process simultaneously. 6.Tracking of application is available. Toll free number to interact and track status is provided. 7. Shortfalls/queries can be raised only once by any department, that too within 3 days of online application. 8. Limited inter-departmental coordination. 8.Higher inter-departmental integration
