Context for Budget Development 2018-2019 2018 Legislative Session McCleary Focus Additional state resources for educator salaries. Annually, as part of the budget development process, the School Board reviews the total of the committed, assigned and unassigned minimum fund balances (CAU). The total shall be in the range of 5-6% of the actual expenditures of the most recently completed fiscal year.
