We are pleased to share that on October 23, 2017, Lakes Area Federal Credit Union and Members Cooperative Credit Union will finalize our operational system integration. As Lakes Area becomes functionally integrated with Members Cooperative, you ll notice some changes and improvements, like access to new products at competitive rates, reductions on many credit union fees, and convenient new technology options like our free mobile app, all delivered with exceptional member service. You ll still walk into your Grand Rapids branch and be greeted by friendly faces. Please review the information contained in this booklet carefully. It provides a comprehensive guide to important milestones in the upcoming weeks, and highlights actions you ll need to take to update your accounts. 2 KEY DATES AND INFORMATION Please Take Note of These Important Dates OCT EARLY Replacement Debit & ATM Cards Lakes Area debit card holders will be mailed replacement MasterCard EMV debit cards the first week of October. Lakes Area debit cards will be active through Friday, October 20, 2017. Activate your new card prior to use and begin using it on Saturday, October 21. New ATM cards will also follow this process and timeline. OCT 20 Last Day to Schedule/Edit Payments in Lakes Area s IPay TM (bill pay) System You may schedule or edit payments up until 3:00pm CDT on Friday, October 20, 2017, at which time the Lakes Area Bill Pay service will be unavailable. OCT 23 System Integration Complete The system merger will be complete on Monday, October 23, 2017. Members can begin using all Members Cooperative services, locations, and ATMs. MasterCard debit cards, online banking, and all digital and online services will be fully functional by Monday, October 23.

3 GENERAL ACCOUNT INFORMATION Account Number Your Lakes Area account number(s) will be changing. Contact us at 1-800-296-8871 ext. 8505, or review your October statement to obtain your new account number(s). Refer to the section on Direct Depost/Automatic ACH Account Withdrawals for information on switching automatic payments with our convenient ClickSWITCH TM tool. Routing Number The current Lakes Area routing number: 291274014 will remain active for a limited time, and will be tied to Members Cooperative s routing number. At your convenience, please begin updating accounts by using the Members Cooperative routing number: 291973454. Internet Banking Automatic Payments/Transfers As a member of Members Cooperative, you will have access to our convenient online banking, bill pay, and mobile app services. Information from any similar Lakes Area services will not transfer over. To use these Members Cooperative services, you will need to enroll in them. For Lakes Area's IPay TM (bill pay) service, the last day to submit a payment will be October 20, 2017. Lakes Area online banking will shut down as of October 20. Please contact us if you need any assistance to transition to Members Cooperative s online services we are ready and waiting to help you. Contact us at: 1-800-296-8871 ext. 8505. Direct Deposit/Automatic ACH Account Withdrawals It s quick and easy to transition your direct deposits, automatic debit card payments and ACH account withdrawals to the Members Cooperative system. An automated payment (or ACH) is a regular, ongoing payment that is initiated externally to or from your bank account, such as a monthly utility payment or auto loan payment. A direct deposit is any payment that you receive directly into your account, like payroll, dividend or government direct deposits (e.g.: Social Security). ClickSWITCH TM Online Switch Tool Moving your direct deposits and reoccurring payments to Members Cooperative is easy. Log in to the ClickSWITCH portal to switch your existing direct deposits and automatic payments to your new Members Cooperative account. Here are a few steps to get you started on transferring your deposits, payments, and ACH withdrawals: Update your email address by visiting with a Members Cooperative employee or calling us at: 1-800-296-8871. With an updated email address, we will be able to provide you with a SwitchTrack code. To start the ClickSWITCH process you will need the aforementioned SwitchTrack code. Access the ClickSWITCH portal at: www.membersccu.org/clickswitch Enter the ClickSWITCH code provided. Create your individual login information. Follow the quick and easy steps to switch over your direct deposits, auto debit card payments and ACH account withdrawals. Be sure to assign an effective date of October 23, 2017 or later for all items, to avoid any crossover issues. Once you are signed into ClickSWITCH, you can access a number of helpful videos. 4 SAVINGS & DEPOSIT PRODUCTS Federally Insured By NCUA. Your Lakes Area savings and deposit accounts, including business accounts, will be transitioned to similar savings and deposit products with Members Cooperative. Share Savings Your Lakes Area primary savings account will convert to a Members Cooperative share savings account and will earn the current Members Cooperative savings rate. The rate sheets will go out with the account documents with the September statements (mailing early October). Certificates of Deposit (Share & IRA) Your Lakes Area certificates will continue at the current rate and term until maturity. Certificates will auto-renew for similar term lengths and available rates. You will receive information thirty days prior to the maturity date of the CD. Individual Retirement Account (IRA) The system merger will not affect individual retirement accounts (IRAs). Rates, fees and all other terms and conditions of your IRA account agreement apply. 5 CHECKING ACCOUNTS Beginning Monday, October 23, 2017, your checking account will automatically convert to a Members Cooperative Preferred Checking account. We also offer EcoChoice Checking a great, environmentally friendly option for earning cash back on qualifying purchases. Visit www.membersccu.org/checking for details on our checking account products. EcoChoice Checking EcoChoice is an environmentally friendly, paperless checking account. Members can earn $.10 per signature-based debit card transaction of $20 or more, up to $25 per month and $300 per year. Your first eight (8) paper checks each month clear for free*. EcoChoice offers: Free online banking Free bill pay for active users Dividends on maintained balances over $2,500 No-fee MasterCard debit cards To enroll in EcoChoice Checking or another checking product after our integration, stop by your nearest location or call: 1-800-296-8871 ext.8505. * Each check cleared thereafter is charged $1. Paper Checks Members Cooperative will mail one free box of checks to all checking account members, one week prior to the integration date (October 23, 2017). Please begin to use these checks immediately once you receive them, and dispose of your old Lakes Area checks. If you prefer to order new checks from an outside source on your own, please visit with a Members Cooperative employee or call our customer service line at: 1-800-296-8871 ext. 8505, to confirm updated check information before ordering. Business Checking Accounts Beginning Monday, October 23, 2017, your Lakes Area Business Checking account will automatically convert to Members Cooperative Business Checking. To learn more about additional business checking options, visit www.membersccu.org/ businessproducts. You can also reach our Business Services Department at: 218-625-8890. 6 CHECKING ACCOUNTS (CONTINUED) Debit & ATM Cards Your new Members Cooperative MasterCard debit card or ATM card will be mailed to the address on record by early October. Your newly activated Members Cooperative debit card will be functional as of Saturday morning, October 21st, 2017. Please discontinue use of your Lakes Area debit or ATM card on Saturday morning. After Saturday, October 21, the ATM limit will be $500 per day, while the point-of-sale transaction limit will be $1,500 per day or your available balance, whichever is less. For business accounts, the ATM transaction limit will be $700 per day and the point-of-sale transaction limit will be $10,000 per day or your available balance, whichever is less. ATM Access Members will have access to the MoneyPass ATM Network, which offers tens of thousands of surcharge-free ATMs. All U.S. Bank locations, Walmart, and Kwik Trip stores are on the MoneyPass Network. Locate an ATM at: www.membersccu.org, and find info on our MoneyPass locator app. Automatic Debit Payments Automatic payments from your Visa debit card (itunes, Netflix, Amazon, etc.) will need to be updated after Monday, October 23, 2017, with your new MasterCard debit card information, to avoid any interruption in service. Credit Cards Your Lakes Area credit card will not be impacted by the system integration in October. Statements You will receive two paper statements for the month of October. The first will be a paper statement (regardless of your typical delivery preference) that will include Lakes Area account information up to and including October 20, 2017 (statement date range: October 1-20, 2017). The second statement will include Members Cooperative account information for the remainder of the month (statement date range: October 21-31, 2017). You can reference this statement to note your new account number, if necessary.

7 CONSUMER LOAN PRODUCTS Credit Life, Disability & Debt Protection If you currently have life, disability or other debt protection coverage on your loan(s), this coverage will remain the same. GAP and warranty coverage will also remain the same. Auto/RV/Motorcycle Your current loans will continue with the same terms. Please continue to make your payment for October as usual, with a due date of October 28. Beginning October 23, payments for your line of credit will be 4% of the outstanding balance, subject to a minimum payment of $25. Payments will continue to be due on the 28th of each month in which you carry a balance. If you have automatic payments set up for your line of credit, this will continue, and your account will be debited on the 28th of each month. IMPORTANT TO KNOW We have great rates! 9 WEBSITE, ONLINE, MOBILE & PHONE BANKING Website The Lakes Area website will be updated on Saturday, October 21, 2017 to redirect users to the Members Cooperative website. This will allow access to a full range of products and services available to all members. The new website address will be www. membersccu.org. Online Banking Lakes Area Online Banking will no longer be available after October 20, 2017. Your online banking history, payment information, and login ID will not carry over. Call to obtain your new account number to register for online banking, then follow the steps below: 1. Go to www.membersccu.org 2. Click on "New User Enroll Now" next to the Online Banking Login. 3. Follow the process for registering your account(s). Bill Pay Lakes Area IPay TM (bill pay) will no longer be available after October 20, 2017. Beginning Monday, October 23, you will have access to Members Cooperative s bill pay system. Your bill pay history, payment information, and login ID will not carry over. You must have an active checking account to use bill pay. Access bill pay by following the steps below: 1. Log in to your online banking. 2. Click on "Payments" on the top of the page. 3. Click "Pay your bills". 4. Follow the prompts to set up your bill pay payees. Mobile Banking Beginning Monday, October 23, 2017, you can use Members Cooperative s mobile app for quick and easy mobile account access. 1. In your app store, search for "MCCU Mobile Banking". 2. Download the MCCU Mobile App. 3. Open the mobile app and enter your online banking credentials, click Log In and follow prompts. *Note: You must have an online banking account to use the mobile app; your credentials will be the same as for online banking. Text Banking Enjoy the convenience of Members Cooperative s text banking system. 1. Log in to your online banking. 2. Click on "Account Services" at the top of the page. 3. Click "Requests" in the left column. 4. Click "Mobile Banking Enrollment". 5. Follow the steps to enroll for text alerts and mobile browsing. *Note: You will need your phone present to complete enrollment in text banking. Telephone Banking On October 23, 2017, you will have access to Members Cooperative s Automatic Response Teller (ART) by phone, any time of the day. Call Members Cooperative to access ART: 1-800-528-2477. All you need is your new member number and new PIN. Call us at 1-800-296-8871 ext. 8505 to obtain your credentials.
