About Tamkeen Tamkeen is an initiative funded by the private sector for the private sector, tasked with developing Bahrain s private sector and positioning it as the key driver of economic development. Established in August 2006, Tamkeen is one of the cornerstones of Bahrain s national reform initiatives and Bahrain Economic Vision. Tamkeen has two primary objectives: Firstly, fostering the creation and development of enterprises, and secondly, providing support to enhance the productivity and growth of enterprises and individuals. About the Programme The Certificate in Insurance Cert CII is awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute CII, UK. It is a core qualification for insurance staff working across all sectors of the industry. The Certificate develops core knowledge and confidence of the key disciplines needed prior to specialisation according to personal ambitions and career requirements. The programme comprises of three units, providing a total of 40 credits on successful completion. Upon completion, active CII members are entitled to use the designation Cert CII. The preparation sessions for this programme are designed for the optimal learning experience; incorporating theory with a wealth of case studies, role-plays and practical application of principles to real life insurance situations. Yes. While Tamkeen will only sponsor the course cost for Bahraini candidates, expatriates are also welcome to join provided they are willing to cover the fees either individually or through company sponsorship. How does the reimbursement process work?
