EUSDR Resolution of the Government of the Slovak Republic to be passed towards the end of 2015, dealing with: 1.Strengthening the governance of the EUSDR in the Slovak Republic 2. Priorities of the SK presidency in the EUSDR

Strengthening the EUSDR governance in the SR - Clear attribution of responsibility of Slovak ministries for EUSDR priority areas - Clear attribution of responsibilities of the Danube Strategy Consultation Group members in the SR - Ambition to strengthen the mandate of Slovak members of Steering Groups, lower the high fluctuation, streamline the communication flow, etc.

Thematic priorities Knowledge Society 1. Developing knowledge society, support for the innovation & competitiveness in the Danube Region - Creation of a platform for drawing financial resources for common research and innovation projects, implementation of DRRIF feasibility study conclusions, utilizing the experience of Germany and Austria - Supporting project preparation of potential Danube Strategy projects, teacher training in vocational education, education of Roma population with the aim of their integration into the society - Strengthening the cooperation of research institutions with business, utilizing the Danube JRC platform for linking the EUSDR with the smart specialization strategy

Thematic priorities Water 2. Reasonable water management as a precondition for the preservation of ecosystems and a sustainable development of the Danube Region - Support of investments aimed at constructing wastewater treatment facilities and sewerage systems in the framework of available financial resources from Operational Programmes 2014-2020 - Safeguarding drinking water supplies and sufficiency of water for preserving the ecosystems with due regard for climate change - Introducing measures for reduction of water pollution from agricultural activity and measures for reducing migration barries in rivers for fish migration - Ensuring a good state of waters for the implementation of infrastructure projects
