1 Definition Terms & Conditions AmStar Current Account + Fixed Deposit (FD) Bundle Promotion Exclusive for AmBank SIGNATURE Priority Banking (AmSPB) 1.1 For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings assigned to them except where the context otherwise requires: Bank refers to AmBank Berhad (Company No: 8515-D) or AmBank Islamic Berhad (Company No: 295576-U), company incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act 1965 (repealed by Companies Act 2016) and having its registered address at Level 22, Bangunan AmBank Group, No. 55, Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur. AmBank Group refers to all the related Corporations and Associate Corporations of the Bank whether incorporated inside or outside Malaysia, existing now or in the future and reference to AmBank Group in these terms and conditions herein, shall include all or any entity within the AmBank Group. Day means Monday to Friday, and whereby the registered office of the Bank is open, unless stated otherwise. Prior Notice means notice by the Bank of certain facts or of a particular state of affairs of at least three (3) calendar days. Deposit under this campaign refers to AmStar Current Account and Fixed Deposit Account, which are the only products offered under this campaign. Retail Banking in this campaign refers to consumer banking that caters for individual customers. Retail Individual Customers refers to individual customers of AmBank/AmBank Islamic under Retail Banking. Fresh Funds refers to monies or funds that are: a) not transferred from any existing AmBank/AmBank Islamic Fixed Deposits, Current or Savings accounts and; b) newly transferred from another bank/financial institution into the customer s Bank deposit account during the account opening/deposit placement. Words denoting person shall include living persons and, if and where applicable, body or persons incorporated or unincorporated. Words importing the singular shall also include the plural and vice-versa. Words importing the masculine gender shall include the feminine and neuter gender. Campaign/Promotion refers to AmStar Current Account + Fixed Deposit Bundle Promotion Exclusive to AmBank SIGNATURE Priority Banking (AmSPB) organised by the Bank in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated herein. 1.2 The term Associate Corporations shall have the same meaning assigned to it under Section 2(1) of the Financial Services Act 2013 or the Islamic Financial Services Act 2013, where applicable. The term Related Corporations shall have the same meaning assigned to it under Section 7 of the Companies Act 2016. 2 Campaign Period 2.1 The Campaign shall commence on 19 November and end on 31 March 2019 (both dates are inclusive) ( Campaign Period ). The Bank reserves the right to vary or amend the duration of the Campaign Period at its sole and absolute discretion with Prior Notice. 1

3 Eligibility Terms & Conditions AmStar Current Account + Fixed Deposit (FD) Bundle Promotion Exclusive for AmBank SIGNATURE Priority Banking (AmSPB) 3.1 The Campaign is open to all new AmBank SIGNATURE Priority Banking (AmSPB) customers (Eligible Customers) who:- a. Have signed up for AmSPB membership; Meet Asset Under Management (AUM) (AUM ie: Savings Account + Current Account + Fixed Deposit + investments) equal to or exceeding RM200,000 with AmBank; and b. Holds at least one AmStar Current Account (eligible for protection by Persatuan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM)) and places the amount (referred to clause in 4.1) with the Bank during the Campaign Period. 4 Campaign Mechanics 4.1 This Campaign is available for placement made over the counter only at any AmBank branch in Malaysia, and the Campaign details are as specified as below: a. Eligible Customer(s) get to enjoy twelve (12) months FD at 4.4% when they subscribe for AmStar and FD bundle. b. Eligible Customer(s) get to enjoy RM 50 cash back reward when they maintain a minimum of RM 10,000 of fresh funds in the AmStar Current Account. Product Type Minimum Initial / Deposit Cash Back AmStar Current Account RM10,000 RM50 4.2 FD placement is capped at maximum of RM200,000 per customer for twelve (12) months only. Upon the FD maturity, it will be renewed at the prevailing board rate. 4.3 FD preferential rate in this campaign is subject to the Bank s Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) changes. 4.4 In order to earn the cash back, Eligible Customer(s) must place a minimum deposit amount to the product type as stipulated in clause 4.1 and maintain the funds in the account based on the requirements below. a. For new to bank AmSPB customers, to be eligible for the RM 50 cash back reward, the tracking will be done as per the requirements below: A B Categories Customer who participates in this campaign on or before 15th of the month Customer who participates in this campaign after 15th but before 30th of the month Criteria to Qualify for RM50 Cash Back Customer needs to maintain RM10,000 balance in AmStar Current Account on the last day (30th / 31st) of the participating month Customer needs to maintain RM10,000 balance in AmStar Current Account on 15th of the following month Illustration: AmStar A/C Opening Date A 8 th Dec B 21 st Dec To Qualify for RM50 Cash Back Customer needs to have RM10,000 in the AmStar Current Account on 31 st Dec Customer needs to have RM10,000 in the AmStar Current Account on 15 th Jan 2019 2

For newly upgraded Eligible Customer(s) with AmStar account, customer is deemed to have successfully fulfilled the criteria if there is a net increase in the account balance of RM10,000* on the 15th or last day of the month compared to the previous month end balance (MEB) (as per illustration below). In relation to joint accounts, only the first named account holder i.e. the primary account holder shall be eligible to participate in the Campaign. 4.6 At the time of crediting the cash back to the Eligible Customer s AmStar Current Account, the account MUST be in good standing as determined by AmBank at its sole discretion, (that is, it MUST NOT be in breach of any of the terms and conditions of the AmBank Current Account Agreement, and/or be invalid or cancelled), otherwise, the cash back will be forfeited. 4.7 AmBank will not entertain any request from the Eligible Customer(s) to credit the cash back to other accounts belonging to the Eligible Customer(s). 4.8 The cash back will be credited to the Eligible Customer s AmStar Current Account within forty five (45) days after the campaign ends. 4.9 All deposits must be Fresh Funds only. 5 General 5.1 By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Customer(s) and/or any party related herein consent and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein, which are to be read together with the General Terms and Conditions of Accounts and Services and Specific Terms and Conditions for Commodity Murabahah-based Term Deposit. 5.2 The Promotional Rate is not valid with any other promotions of the Bank. No other special, additional or preferential rates shall be given under the Promotion. 5.3 The Bank shall have, at any time, the right and absolute discretion to cancel, terminate or suspend this Promotion with Prior Notice without assigning any reason. 5.4 The Bank shall have the right and absolute discretion to vary, amend, delete or add to any of the terms and conditions set out herein, in whole or in any part from time to time including to vary the Promotion Period as it deems fit, necessary and appropriate with Prior Notice. 5.5 Any notice to be given by the Bank shall be posted in the Bank s official website at www.ambank.com.my or its branches, and any such notice shall be deemed given when so posted at its official website or its branches, whichever is earlier. 3

Terms & Conditions AmStar Current Account + Fixed Deposit (FD) Bundle Promotion Exclusive for AmBank SIGNATURE Priority Banking (AmSPB) 5.6 The Bank shall have the absolute right to cancel the participation of or disqualify any Eligible Customer from participating in the Promotion if it finds or determines that: (a) (b) The said Eligible Customer has provided untrue information or acted fraudulently or wrongfully in any manner during the entry process or throughout the Promotion Period; or The Eligible Customer has breached or potentially breached the terms and conditions herein. 5.7 Unless expressly stated otherwise, these terms and conditions shall prevail over any other provisions and/or representations contained in any other notices/promotion/advertising materials for the Promotion. 5.8 The Bank s decision on all matters relating to the availability of the Promotion shall be final and binding on all participating Customers. 5.9 Under no circumstances will the Bank be held liable for any loss or damages, including without limitation to loss of income, profits, goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties, howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, borne in connection with the Promotion or the Bank having exercised its rights and entitlement under any of these terms and conditions, and, even if the Bank has exercised its rights and entitlement under any of these terms & conditions, or has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, all such damages are expressly excluded. 5.10 The Bank shall not be liable for any default in respect of the Promotion due to any act of god, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm, technical or system failures or any event beyond the reasonable control of the Bank. 5.11 All terms and conditions stipulated herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. 5.12 The Eligible Customer is required to log on to the Bank s corporate website for promotional updates at http://www.ambank.com.my/eng/terms-and-conditions for the latest terms & conditions, if any. 4

Terma & Syarat Promosi Gabungan Akaun Semasa AmStar + Deposit Tetap (FD) Khusus untuk Perbankan Prioriti AmBank SIGNATURE (AmSPB) 1 Definisi 1.1 Untuk tujuan terma dan syarat ini, perkataan dan ungkapan berikut hendaklah mempunyai makna yang ditentukan baginya melainkan sekiranya konteks memerlukan sebaliknya: Bank merujuk kepada AmBank Berhad (Company No: 8515-D) dan AmBank Islamic Berhad (No. Syarikat: 295576-U), syarikat yang diperbadankan di Malaysia di bawah Akta Syarikat 1965 (dimansuhkan oleh Akta Syarikat 2016) dan mempunyai alamat berdaftar di Tingkat 22, Bangunan AmBank Group, No. 55 Jalan Raja Chulan, 50200 Kuala Lumpur. Kumpulan AmBank merujuk kepada semua Syarikat dan Syarikat Bersekutu yang berkaitan dengan Bank sama ada diperbadankan di dalam atau di luar Malaysia, sudah wujud pada masa ini atau pada masa akan datang dan rujukan terhadap Kumpulan AmBank dalam terma dan syarat ini akan merangkumi semua atau mana-mana entiti dalam Kumpulan AmBank. Hari bermaksud Isnin hingga Jumaat dan pada bila-bila pejabat Bank yang berdaftar dibuka, kecuali dinyatakan sebaliknya. Notis Terdahulu bermaksud notis oleh Bank berkenaan fakta-fakta tertentu atau berkenaan sesuatu keadaan yang tertentu dalam tempoh sekurang-kurangnya tiga (3) hari kalendar. Deposit merujuk kepada Akaun Semasa AmStar dan Akaun Deposit Tetap (FD), adalah produk yang ditawarkan di bawah promosi ini. Perbankan Runcit merujuk kepada perbankan consumer untuk pelanggan individu dan pelanggan bukan individu. Pelanggan Runcit Individu merujuk kepada pelanggan individu AmBank/AmBank Islamic daripada Perbankan Runcit. Dana Baharu bermaksud wang atau dana yang: a) tidak dipindahkan dari mana-mana akaun deposit AmBank/AmBank Islamic sedia ada dan; b) baru dipindahkan dari institusi bank/kewangan lain ke dalam akaun Bank pelanggan semasa pembukaan akaun/membuat penempatan deposit. Perkataan yang menggambarkan individu adalah merangkumi mereka yang masih hidup, dan sekiranya dan di mana berkenaan, pertubuhan atau mereka yang diperbadankan atau tidak diperbadankan. Perkataan yang membawa maksud singular juga akan merangkumi maksud jamak dan sebaliknya. Perkataan yang membawa maksud jantina lelaki akan merangkumi jantina perempuan dan jantina neuter. Kempen/Promosi merujuk kepada Promosi Gabungan Akaun Semasa AmStar + Deposit Tetap Khusus untuk Perbankan Prioriti AmBank SIGNATURE (AmSPB) yang dianjurkan oleh Bank menurut terma dan syarat yang ditetapkan di sini. 1.2 Istilah 'Perbadanan Bersekutu' mempunyai maksud yang sama seperti yang diperuntukkan terhadapnya di bawah Seksyen 2(1) Akta Perkhidmatan Kewangan 2013 atau Akta Perkhidmatan Kewangan Islam 2013, yang mana berkenaan. Istilah 'Syarikat Yang Berkaitan' pula mempunyai maksud yang sama seperti yang diperuntukkan terhadapnya di bawah Seksyen 7 Akta Syarikat 2016 5

Terma & Syarat Promosi Gabungan Akaun Semasa AmStar + Deposit Tetap (FD) Khusus untuk Perbankan Prioriti AmBank SIGNATURE (AmSPB) 2 Tempoh Kempen 2.1 Kempen akan bermula pada 19 November dan tamat pada 31 March 2019 (merangkumi kedua-dua tarikh) ( Tempoh Kempen ). Pihak Bank berhak untuk mengubah atau meminda Tempoh Promosi atas budi bicara mutlaknya dengan memberikan Notis Awal. 3 Kelayakan 3.1 Promosi ini terbuka kepada semua pelanggan baru individu Perbankan Prioriti AmBank SIGNATURE (AmSPB) ( Pelanggan Yang Layak ) yang telah :- a. Mendaftar sebagai keahlian AmSPB; Memenuhi Aset Dalam Pengurusan (AUM iaitu: Akaun Simpanan + Akaun Semasa + Deposit Tetap + pelaburan) RM200,000 dengan AmBank; dan b. Memegang Akaun Semasa AmStar (layak dilindungi oleh Persatuan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM)) dan membuat penempatan (mengikut fasal 4.1) dengan Bank semasa Tempoh Kempen. 4 Mekanisme Kempen 4.1 Kempen ini boleh didapati untuk penempatan yang dibuat di kaunter sahaja di mana-mana cawangan AmBank di Malaysia, mekanisme kempen adalah seperti yang dinyatakan di bawah: a. Pelanggan yang Layak menikmati kadar khas FD dua belas (12) bulan pada 4.4% semasa mendaftar AmStar dan FD pakej. b. Pelanggan yang Layak dapat menikmati RM 50 pulangan tunai semasa mengekalkan penempatan minimum sebanyak RM 10,000 dana baharu dalam Akaun Semasa AmStar. Jenis Produk Deposit Permulaan / Penempatan Minimum Pulangan Tunai Akaun Semasa AmStar RM10,000 RM50 4.2 Penempatan FD adalah dihadkan pada jumlah maksimum RM 200,000 bagi setiap Pelanggan yang Layak selama dua belas (12) bulan. Selepas kematangan tempoh FD, kadar khas akan diberhenti dan FD tersebut akan diperbaharui pada kadar semasa yang dipakai pada masa pembaharuan. 4.3 Kadar khas FD semasa tempoh kempen adalah tertakluk kepada Bank perubahan Harga Pindaan Dana (Fund Transfer Pricing). 4.4 Kelayakan pada pulangan tunai adalah tertakluk pada penempatan minimum, jenis produk dan tempoh penempatan minimum yang dinyatakan pada klausa 4.1 dan mengekalkan dana berkenaan di dalam akaun berdasarkan keperluan di bawah:- a. Pelanggan yang Layak yang baru pada AmBank, kelayakan pada pulangan tunai RM50 adalah tertakluk kepada kriteria dibawah: A B Kategori Pelanggan yang Layak menyertai kempen ini pada atau sebelum tarikh 15 th bulan tersebut Pelanggan yang Layak menyertai kempen ini selepas tarikh 15 th tetapi sebelum 30 th bulan tersebut Kriteria Kelayakan pada RM50 Pulangan Tunai Pelanggan perlu mengekal penempatan minimum RM10,000 dalam Akaun Semasa AmStar sepanjang bulan sampai hari terakhir (30 th / 31 st ) pada bulan penyertaan tersebut. Pelanggan perlu mengekal penempatan minimum RM10,000 dalam Akaun Semasa AmStar sepanjang bulan sampai hari 15 th pada bulan berikutnya. 6

Berhubung dengan akaun bersama, hanya nama pemegang akaun pertama i.e. pemegang akaun utama layak untuk menyertai Kempen. 4.6 Masa mengkredit pulangan wang tunai ke Akaun Semasa AmStar Pelanggan Layak, akaun tersebut MESTI berada dalam kedudukan yang baik dan TIDAK MEMBUAT mana-mana pelanggaran teratas terma dan syarat Perjanjian Akaun Semasa/Simpanan AmBank, dan / atau tidak sah dibatalkan dalam takrifan AmBank, jika tidak, pulangan tunai akan dibatalkan. 4.7 AmBank tidak akan melayan apa-apa permintaan daripada Pelanggan yang Layak untuk mengkreditkan pulangan tunai ke akaun lain yang dimiliki oleh Pelanggan yang Layak. 4.8 Pulangan tunai akan dikreditkan ke Akaun Semasa AmStar Pelanggan Layak dalam masa empat puluh lima (45) hari selepas kempen berakhir. 4.9 Semua deposit mestilah Dana Baharu sahaja. 5 Umum 5.1 Dengan menyertai Promosi ini, Pelanggan Yang Layak dan/atau mana-mana pihak yang dinyatakan di sini memberi kebenaran dan bersetuju untuk terikat dengan terma dan syarat di dalam ini, untuk dibaca bersama dengan: Terma dan Syarat Umum Bagi Akaun Dan Perkhidmatan dan Terma dan Syarat Khusus bagi Deposit Bertempoh Berasaskan Komoditi Murabahah. 5.2 Kadar Promosi adalah tidak sah dengan mana-mana promosi lain yang ditawarkan oleh Bank. Tiada kadar istimewa, tambahan atau keutamaan lain yang boleh diberikan di bawah Promosi ini melainkan jika ditentukan sebaliknya oleh Bank. 7

Terma & Syarat Promosi Gabungan Akaun Semasa AmStar + Deposit Tetap (FD) Khusus untuk Perbankan Prioriti AmBank SIGNATURE (AmSPB) 5.3 Bank mempunyai hak dan budi bicara mutlak, pada bila-bila masa, untuk membatalkan, menamatkan atau menggantung Promosi ini dengan memberikan Notis Awal tanpa perlu memberikan sebarang alasan. 5.4 Bank mempunyai hak dan budi bicara mutlak untuk mengubah, meminda, memadam atau menambah ke atas mana-mana terma dan syarat yang dinyatakan secara khusus di dalam ini, secara keseluruhan atau mana-mana bahagian dari semasa ke semasa termasuk mengubah Tempoh Promosi ini seperti yang difikirkan padan, perlu dan sesuai dengan memberikan Notis Awal. 5.5 Sebarang notis yang dikeluarkan oleh Bank akan dipaparkan di laman web rasmi Bank di www.ambank.com.my atau di cawangannya, dan notis berkenaan hendaklah disifatkan sebagai telah diberikan apabila telah dipaparkan di laman web rasmi atau di cawangannya, yang mana lebih awal. 5.6 Bank mempunyai hak untuk membatalkan penyertaan atau kelayakan mana-mana Pelanggan Yang Layak daripada mengambil bahagian dalam Promosi sekiranya ia mendapati atau memutuskan bahawa: (a) Pelanggan Yang Layak tersebut telah memberikan maklumat yang tidak benar atau melakukan penipuan atau kesalahan dalam apa-apa cara semasa proses penyertaan atau di sepanjang Tempoh Promosi; atau (b) Pelanggan Yang Layak telah melanggar atau berpotensi melanggar terma dan syarat ini. 5.7 Melainkan dinyatakan sebaliknya, terma dan syarat ini akan mengatasi mana-mana peruntukan lain dan/atau perwakilan yang terkandung dalam mana-mana notis /promosi/bahan pengiklanan lain untuk Promosi ini. 5.8 Keputusan Bank dalam semua perkara berkaitan dengan ketersediaan Promosi ini adalah muktamad dan mengikat semua Pelanggan Yang Layak yang mengambil bahagian. 5.9 Tidak dalam mana-mana keadaan pun pihak Bank harus dipertanggungjawabkan terhadap apa-apa kerugian atau kerosakan, termasuklah tanpa had kepada, kehilangan pendapatan, keuntungan, nama baik, secara langsung atau tidak langsung, sampingan, turutan, teladan, kerosakan punitif atau khas bagi mana-mana pihak termasuklah pihak ketiga, walau bagaimana cara sekalipun ia timbul sama ada dalam kontrak, tort, kelalaian atau sebaliknya, berhubung dengan penyertaan di dalam Promosi ini atau setelah pihak Bank melaksanakan haknya di bawah terma & syarat ini, walaupun pihak Bank telah dinasihati tentang kemungkinan berlakunya kerugian sedemikian terlebih dahulu, semua kerugian sedemikian secara jelas dikecualikan. 5.10 Bank tidak akan bertanggungjawab terhadap sebarang keingkaran berkaitan dengan Promosi ini disebabkan oleh sebarang bencana alam, peperangan, rusuhan, mogok, sekat masuk, tindakan industri, kebakaran, banjir, kemarau, ribut, kegagalan teknikal atau sistem atau sebarang peristiwa di luar kawalan munasabah Bank. 5.11 Semua terma dan syarat yang ditetapkan di sini akan ditadbir dan ditafsirkan menurut undang-undang Malaysia. 5.12 Pelanggan Yang Layak dikehendaki melayari laman web korporat Bank di http://www.ambank.com.my/eng/terms-and-conditions untuk versi terkini terma & syarat ini, sekiranya ada. 8
