APFF and ASIFMA Conference: Corporate Bonds, Repo & OTC Derivatives Developments in China Event Factsheet (as of 11 Jan 2017) Date: 16 and 17 March 2017 (Thursday and Friday) Co-organisers: ABAC, ADB, ASIFMA, CEPS, GIZ, ISDA Location: Beijing (a hotel in Financial Street Beijing) 16-17 March 2017, Beijing Objective: This conference brings together experts from industry and the private sector as well as government and regulatory agencies to examine the various issues that are relevant to China in its effort to develop deep and liquid bond, repo and OTC derivatives markets. Attendees will participate in both interactive and networking sessions. Program Format: Two-day conference featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, concurrent roundtables and networking opportunities. Day 1 will focus on developments in the Chinese corporate bond market, including the China Interbank Bond Market ( CIBM ) opening and present the findings of the ASIFMA investor survey and the China Capital Markets Paper. Day 2 will focus on Repo s and Derivatives (including netting) on the mainland. Speakers: Asian and global policy-makers, central bankers, leading market practitioners and industry experts in China capital markets. Sponsorship: Sponsorship opportunities are open to ASIFMA members and non-members. Active China markets practitioners are particularly encouraged. Delegate Profile: This event is expected to attract 200-300 Chinese policy makers, think thanks and experts from industry and the private sector, initially by invitation-only and then marketed to a wider audience.
