Reform of National Employment Two courses of reform Service - improve the quality of services offered by the NES to employers and to job seekers: improving the quality of labour intermediation and the quality of case management - improve the effectiveness of ALMPs: in the way ALMPs are targeted to beneficiaries and in the way ALMPs are monitored and evaluated Goal: increase the number of job opportunities for registered unemployed (increasing the number of NES-registered unemployment cases transitioning into formal jobs)
Enhancing the effectiveness of NES services 1. Increase the number of NES staff working in direct contact with employers and active job seekers (balance the caseload per case worker across NES branch offices, redistribution of administrative staff to the front line as case workers, introduce a new list of active job seekers) 2. Capacity building of NES staff - certifying NES case workers 3. Increasing collection of vacancies among employers increase frequency and number of employers contacted by the NES 4. New methodology of profiling registered unemployed individuals adopted by NES management

Total number of employment case workers is 618. The average case load per employment case worker was 1.177.
