JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Senir Prgress Crdinatr TLR: 1b Pathways Rle Overview High quality student supprt is pivtal t the success f individual and student chrts as a whle. The Senir Prgress Crdinatr will prmte this success thrugh their leadership f pastral supprt and student prgress f students in their Pathways Stage. The Senir Prgress Crdinatr will supprt, track and secure accuntability frm their team f Year Leads and Learning Mentrs t supprt student prgress, academic and persnal success acrss the Fundatin phase. The Senir Prgress crdinatr will lead student data analysis and respnse strategies acrss the Pathways phase in liaisn with the Deputy Headteacher - Pastral t secure the health and welfare f all students in the phase. Purpse: Students will achieve success thrugh the Senir Prgress Crdinatrs priritising the mnitring, tracking and evaluating f the prgress f all individuals in their phase supprting Year Leads and intervening when necessary in ways apprpriate t the cntext. T ensure that the schl achieves the best educatinal utcmes fr each child in the Pathways phase with specific regard t students prgress, achievement welfare and engagement with schl T lead and line manage a Year Lead team and versee Year Lead leadership f Learning Mentr teams t ensure the effective prmtin and mnitring f student prgress and achievement, the management f behaviur, attendance and student welfare in the Pathways Phase. T develp and implement appraches t addressing the brad range f students inclusin needs, enabling students t achieve at least in line with their expected rates f prgress and attainment. Prmting a psitive eths in the Pathways phase within the framewrk f a grwth mindset culture, celebrating effrt and prgress as well as achievement and encuraging student participatin in schl life acrss the year grup in line with schl plicy. Oversee mnitring and review f IBPs and PSPs, EHCPs and ther student supprt plans in cnjunctin with the Inclusin Lead and Deputy Headteacher. Undertaking, where apprpriate, additinal tasks in rder t fulfil this key accuntability Leadership and Management f the Fundatin Phase Effective leadership, management and mnitring f the welfare f all students in the Pathways phase, including rewards, sanctins, behaviur supprt prgrammes, unifrm, punctuality, attendance and student supprt services prvisin. Quality Assurance: T undertake the prcesses fr mnitring, reviewing and respnding t prgress, attendance and behaviur data in line with schl plicy T lead n the establishment f cmmn standards f practice in prgress interventin and behaviur management acrss the pathways phase and the schl T implement schl quality assurance prcedures and t ensure adherence t thse acrss the year grup and phase team. T lead and participate in the mnitring and evaluatin f the wrk f the Pathways phase staff and the whle schl behaviur systems and prcedures, including evaluatin against quality standards and perfrmance criteria. T seek/implement mdificatin and imprvement within the relevant line management areas. Management Infrmatin: T ensure the maintenance f accurate and up-t-date infrmatin cncerning the relevant pastral areas n the management infrmatin system. T make use f analysis and evaluate perfrmance data prvided.

T identify and take apprpriate actin n issues arising frm data, systems and reprts; setting deadlines where necessary and reviewing prgress n the actin taken. T prvide the Deputy Headteacher with relevant infrmatin relating t the perfrmance and develpment f the Pathways phase pastral systems as apprpriate Cmmunicatins: T ensure that all members f staff are familiar with the aims and bjectives f the Pathways Phase and the whle schl behaviur management system. T ensure effective cmmunicatin and cnsultatin as apprpriate with the parents/carers f students. T liaise with Lcal Authrity bdies, external agencies and ther relevant external bdies as apprpriate. Marketing and Liaisn: T cntribute t the develpment f effective links with partner schls and the cmmunity, t prmte student welfare and t develp psitive relatinships with the cmmunity beynd. T actively prmte the develpment f effective links with external agencies. Management f Resurces: T identify resurce needs fr the effective implementatin f Pathways phase activity. T cperate with ther areas f the schl t ensure a sharing and effective usage f resurces t the benefit f the schl and the students. Pastral System: T lead implementatin f the whle schl Behaviur Management plicy within the Pathways phase and in supprt f ther Senir Prgress Crdinatr and Year Lead Prgress Crdinatrs T lead n the develpment f the CPSHE, citizenship and enterprise Pathways phase prvisin in liaisn with the CPSHE Lead and accrding t schl plicy Teaching: T undertake an apprpriate prgramme f teaching in accrdance with the duties f a standard scale teacher which are: T teach, students accrding t their educatinal needs, including the setting and marking f wrk t be carried ut by the student in schl and elsewhere. T assess, recrd and reprt n the attendance, prgress, develpment and attainment f students and t keep such recrds as are required.

T prvide, r cntribute t, ral and written assessments, reprts and references relating t individual students and grups f students. T ensure that ICT, Literacy, Numeracy and schl subject specialism(s) are reflected in the teaching/learning experience f students T undertake a designated prgramme f teaching. T ensure a high quality learning experience fr students which meets internal and external quality standards. T prepare and update subject materials. T use a variety f delivery methds which will stimulate learning apprpriate t student needs and demands f the syllabus. T maintain discipline in accrdance with the schl s prcedures, and t encurage gd practice with regard t punctuality, behaviur, standards f wrk and hmewrk. T undertake assessment f students as requested by external examinatin bdies, departmental and schl prcedures. T mark, grade and give written/verbal and diagnstic feedback as required.
