2 IMPORTANT INFORMATION The notes below draw attention to common issues and essential information to be considered during the registration process. Please review the Official Free Zone Gazette for additional details. 1-The validity of a business license is one year, and the licensed company should either renew the license or request for official de-registration to avoid any fine and penalties. 2-License are valid only in Djibouti free zone, PAID Free Zone, Fish Port, Doraleh free zones and Airport free zones-clients shall not operate outside those premises with the free zone license. 3-At June, 31 st of each year, all free zones companies are requested to submit audited reports prepared by firms registered with DPFZA. 4-All companies must submit copies of Board minutes to DPFZA every year. 5-Licenses as well as statutory information can be amended by request, with necessary approvals ad payments of the relevant fees. 6-DPFZA carries out inspections of facilities allotted to companies to assess level of activity of the company. 7-Approval of visas and renewal of business license is subject to the level of activity and scale of operation of the company. 8-All companies must be registered with the OPS via DPFZA One Stop Shop desk and have their national employees registered the same. 9-Licensees will be required to comply with DPFZA and customs regulations.
