2 Invitation This year the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) has again invited representatives of the U.S. export control authorities to provide information on the status of the U.S. export control reform as well as recent developments in export control regulations. The following U.S. authorities are expected: Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). This event is in cooperation with Mission Germany at the U.S. Consulate Frankfurt located at Giessener Str. 30, Frankfurt am Main. All presentations will be given in English.

Please limit yourself to two participants per company. NOTE: The venue of the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt requires the following security regulations be observed: 1. Your personal data (name, company) will be collected in connection with the registration and will be forwarded in advance to the U.S. Consulate General in Frankfurt, which reserves the right to refuse access to the Consulate General in specific cases. A registration confirmation and registration number will be sent to you via Participants must present an identity card or passport upon entering the premises. Fee: 100,00 Euro (this includes: seminar handouts, food and drinks) Please pay the entire fee within 21 days of registration or registration will be canceled. 3. 6 Directions Frankfurt Main Train Station From the Frankfurter Hauptbahnhof take the U5 in the direction Preungesheim until the stop called Gießener Straße. On Marbachweg turn right onto Gießener Straße, then turn left onto Wetzlarer Straße where you will find the entrace marked Employee Entrance. Frankfurt Airport Take public transportation to the Frankfurt Main Train Station, then follow the aforementioned directions. You can find more information on Frankfurt s public transportation at Parking There is litte to no parking near the Consulate so public transportation is advisable. Hotels Due to the Automechanika Trade Fair (September 11-15, 2018) there are very few hotels available in Frankfurt. Alternatively, it is possible to book a hotel in a surrounding city such as Hanau, Mainz, Wiesbaden or Darmstadt.
