4 OUR TEAM Herman van Dyk CA(SA), ACA, MCom(South African and International Taxation)(cum laude), BAcc(Hons), BAcc(cum laude), Registered Tax Practitioner Director Herman is the managing director of Taxserv. He started his career working in the assurance service line of international big four firm EY (Ernst & Young) in South Africa. He was later seconded to EY s London, United Kingdom office where he worked as an audit executive in the retail, consumer and industrial products division. Herman now specialises in the technical aspects of income tax, value-added tax and payroll taxes. He is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa and as an Associate Chartered Accountant in England and Wales. Herman holds a Master of Commerce cum laude in South African and International Taxation and received an academic award for the best Master s dissertation in his class. He graduated in second position in his undergraduate class and received an award for the best student in Taxation. Cilliers van Zyl CA(SA), MCom(Financial Accounting), Registered Tax Practitioner Associate Cilliers has extensive experience in the areas of assurance, consulting and advisory. He started his career working for international big four firm PWC and was later appointed as a director of Sizwe Ntsaluba Gobodo, a large national professional services firm. Jolani Oosthuizen AGA(SA), BCom(Hons)(Financial Accounting), BAcc(cum laude), Registered Tax Practitioner Associate Jolani specialises in financial reporting and tax compliance services. She started her career with PKF, which is part of a global network of accountancy firms. Minette Loedolff BCom(Hons)(Financial Accounting), BCom(Chartered Accountancy) Accounting Assistant
