3 About FMTF Fujairah Marble & Tiles Factory (FMTF) is one of the region s leading manufacturers of Terrazzo and natural stones. Established in 1978, the company is a subsidiary of the Fujairah Building Industries PSC. FMTF is credited as one of the very first companies to receive approval from the UAE Ministry of Public Works to produce Terrazzo-based building materials--a composite material that is poured in place or precast for floor and wall treatments. The company basically offers two Terrazzo main products, which includes single, double layers and natural stones like marble and granite. The company also exports its diverse range of products to other GCC countries and the African region, as well. All of FMTF s products are manufactured in its production facilities in Dibba, Fujairah manned by a workforce of 170 skilled and professional workers. The company has ably positioned itself as a premier importer of marble and granite coming from different parts of the globe. Backed by the latest state-of-the-art technologies, including the most advanced machineries for cutting, tile press, polishing and curing. FMTF continues to produce and manufacture world class, high quality and fully durable tiles. Aside from this, the company also operates its own fleet of vehicles that guarantees key delivery and safe transport of its products to any point in the UAE. FMTF continuously showcases its Natural Stone &Terrazzo products across its showrooms in Dibba, Abu Dhabi and Dubai and has received key Safety & Environmental Awards in recognition to its contribution towards developing highquality, green and efficient materials. 6 Marble Production Process Gangsaw & Block Cutter Cutting We process the marble block into various thickness of slabs & strips with Gangsaw and block cutter machines. 4

7 Block Cutter Bridge Cutter Various thicknesses of slabs are being cut into standard sizes and cut to size by the Bridge cutter according to the requirement of production. Slab Polishing Machine We polish and hone the slabs with slab polishing machine. 5
