13 Development projects In total have initiated a 10 development projects within the main areas: - Offshore Oil and gas - Offshore Wind energy - Maritime 13

14 History of Together with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation the counties in Jutland and Fyn developed a plan for establishment of 17 regional competence centers. 14

15 History of A consortium was formed in order to establish the center - members include: -2 companies - 2 educational institutions - 1 regional development center - The county of Ribe A declaration of support for the center was signed by 35 companies Public meeting about the center to inform the public Opening of the center. 15

19 Evaluation, 2004 The 17 Danish regional competence centers were evaluated by Oxford Research in 2004 Parameters included: -Stategy -Realism - Coorporation with institutions and regional companies - Development of regional competences -And more scored highest grade possible on 11 out of 12 areas 19
