EXECUTIVE SUMMARY According to some study carried out by some global reseachers, the evolution of technology has paved the way for a range of innovations, and it is these innovations that will determine our economic growth for the next years of the future It has become very clear that one of the tachnology talked about is the decentralized kind of systems, simply say the BLOCKCHAIN Blockchain has the potential to completely revolutionize nearly every industry in the world with its major strength being transparency in transactions, extending scalability, keeping security and decetralization in appropriate levels Blockchain is also the underlying technology for cryptocurrencies, and can offer so much more is a blockchain/distributed ledger system which combines a distributed identity system, distributed procedure protocols, distributed communities, distributed data collaboration, distributed attestation, and various other traget-specific modules Together this builds the infrastructure for a peer-to-peer trust and transparent network for the food and agriculture security Ecosystem The blockchain will also be interfaced by our specific marketplace platform (Farm) where all farmers around the world can connect for proper transactions, and all payment will be made with BRH coin and Farm is planned to serve 100 million farmers, and will be expanded in the future What blockchain tends to specifically address are: Tracking Produce origin Tracking and management of agricultural supply chain Proper produce channeling and pricing Ensure Transparency and unfair pricing in the agriculture market, by ensuring all farmers whether large scale, or small scale gets appropriate reward for their produce Matching pricing for agricultural produce across the universe 5
c is a blockchain/distributed ledger system which combines a distributed identity system, distributed procedure protocols, distributed communities, distributed data collaboration, distributed attestation, and various other traget-specific modules Together this builds the infrastructure for a peer-to-peer trust and transparent network for the food and agriculture security Ecosystem 6
The blockchain will also be interfaced by our specific marketplace platform (Farm) where all farmers around the world can connect for proper transactions, and all payment will be made with BRH coin Farm is planned to serve 100 million farmers, and will be expanded in the future 7
1 BLOCKCHAIN AND VISION 11 Blockchain insights and Overview Blockchain is a digitized, decentralized, public ledger of all cryptocurrency transactions that promises to secure and simplify transactions and networks in every industry Blockchain was originally developed as the accounting method for the virtual currency bitcoin, but that was just an underestimation and underutilization of one of the finest technology and concept ever given to man This technology has massively blown to a new era of cryptocurrency which is rapidly taking over every sector, virtually all big companies are currently making research about blockchain Blockchain constantly grows as completed blocks which are the most recent transactions are recorded and added to it in chronological order, it allows market participants to keep track of digital currency transactions without central recordkeeping Each node (a computer connected to the network) gets a copy of the blockchain, which is downloaded automatically 12 Generations of Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies 121 First generation (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Dash etc): Bitcoin is coinsidered here being the father of all cryptocurrency Bitcoin is the perfect example of the cryptocurrencies first generation It was the first cryptocurrency ever launched into the market in 2009 It represents a revolutionary technology for the financial world, although yet to changed so much over the years Bitcoin represents a peer-to-peer blockchain technology and lets individuals exchange value without any third-party governance system such as a bank or a financial company to confirm the transaction 8
122 Second Generation (Ethereum): The most famous representative of the 2nd generation of cryptocurrencies is Ethereum It works in a much smarter way than Bitcoin does It allows you to use some sort of code, a programming language to build smart contracts and decentralized applications on top of them These smart contracts set up rules and conditions that have to be met for an action to happen and they can be used for a huge variety of things, from advanced financial transactions to legal disputes Ethereum currently has a marketcap of 50 billion dollars as at the time of this writing 123 Third Generation: This generation is only to be developed and no certain cryptocurrency belongs to it They simply try to implement what neither of the first and secong generation cryptocurrencies implemented The Cryptocurrency market chart from 2016 till date(2018) 9
13 VISION The network vision is to provide a better decentralised system eliminating the current issues of transparency, corruption and economy unevenness, and moreso, the hassles in food channelling, distribution and security as it specifically concerns agriculture in its wholeness using the blockchain technology The technology behind the network was inspired, concieved and brought to existence by the teams extensive interest, passion, and research in food and agriculture in it s entirety, and also the need to improve the food ecosystem by speeding up transactions, processes and likes using a decentralized system was a key to making this happen The network will quicken the speed of transaction in the agriculture system in terms ofprocessing speed per transaction and processing in seconds 10
2 FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN, AGRICULTURE SECURITY AND BLOCKCHAIN 21 The need for Blockchain in food supply and agriculture security One of the most common questions regarding blockchain solutions is why do you need them or why don t you use existing technology? The simplest answer to that question is that they enable certain functions that did not exist before, and that traditional databases and architectures are unable to perform, for instance there are certain functions that are very valuable for the digital world that hasn t been invented before the blockchain, and some og the key importance of blockchain will be considered below Immutability of digital files - with blockchain technology it is now possible to make sure that a digital file, register, certificate of ethical production, photo or video etc is still the same as it was when it was first registered in the blockchain The hashing technology and the blockchain is the only known technology that can do this If we want to digitally represent for example digital files, authorizing food production and conditions at the production facility, or data files of the bookkeeping regarding food purchases and sales, it is of paramount importance that they are impossible, or at least very hard, to manipulate The blockchain is the most trustworthy solution for this All operations and transactions are traceable and transparent blockchain has made it very easy to ensure a operations in any system is transparent and traceable, since every party involved in any transaction must approve the transactions before it takes place, that is the multisignature feature, which happens due to the decentralized feature of blockchain, unlike the traditional centralized kind of system, where the central server can be manipulated and the whole system gets compromised Low barriers to entry - The blockchain technology enables trust in low cost technologies that under other circumstances are considered insecure The blockchain can make verifications of any digital record trustworthy An , a photo, or a SMS are usually perceived as insecure This is of paramount importance in the food supply chain since a large number of farmers and actors have very limited IT capabilities A system that requires every farmer to have a SAP-solution with other complex technology setup will never be realized, especially due to the highcost The blockchain on the other hand makes it possible for small farmers and truck drivers or a 11
fishernman out at sea, as an example, to enter trustworthy data to the supply chain with a simple smart phone Data and processes cannot be manipulated, because hashes, digital fingerprints that are stored in the blockchain, will reveal any manipulation or change of the data or processes in the system Digital units frauds are checkmated due to impossibility to copy - If you want to make a representation of a food product or commodity with certain characteristics and track that item in a supply chain, it is important that you cannot make copies of that item Otherwise you can for example claim that you sell the same farm produce by reusing the same digital identity over and over again The blockchain ensures there is no risk of copying and double spending or double selling of a particular item of food Each characteristic of the food is unique and cannot be duplicated 22 THE PRESENT FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN VS FOOD SUPPLY CHAIN VIA BLOCKCHAIN (Using NETWORK blockchain as example) 221 PRESENT FOOD AND PRODUCE SUPPLY CHAIN The existing or present food and produce supply chain is a working one, but needs some major improvements to help sustain and secure the food and agricultural ecosystem, and ensure proper human food consumption, and this basically lies in the aspect of traceability, proper communication channeling, trust verification without third party and even more A quick look at the diagrams below shows the distinctive effects of the blockchain technology on the food supply chain system Proper view of the system shows how the need for middlemen is reduced, as even the final consumer now have access to the direct producer or processor of produce or product, can view the origin of a product, check the producer s or processor s produce and product history, possible production dates, and many more with no costs, and at their comfort using the interfaces provided for them Moreso, trust is extablished in transactions without involving third party financial institutions suchas banks and likes The farmer irrespective of the size and scale he operates now has a chance to compare global prizes and get equal proportiional rewards for his or her efforts, and also compete with the large players as in the open market since it s no longer the pity buy kind of situation where a middleman decides to take their produce at a peanut price as in the traditional current supply system without appropriate rewards 12
221 FOOD AND PRODUCE SUPPLY CHAIN VIA BLOCKCHAIN In the new blockcain system, it is very evident that food and agriculture ecosystem security gets a massive increase rating as every required transaction from start to end is very transparent, based on total trust and hence visible for all authorized player on the system to view, and are very original since all data on the blockchain is very immutable 13
23 AGRICULTURAL SECTOR USES FOR BLOCKCHAIN Transparent, Secured and Trusted Transactions in the supply chain Data Monitoring Minimising human errors due to insignificant and what is considered insignificant errors Fast connections of farmers and produce makers to their produce needers Fast channeling of farm produce to ensure they don t go bad Smart Contracts Reduce innefficiency and fraud, while improving food safety, farmer pay (irrespective of scale), and transaction times Ensure global price negotiation throughout the supply chain 14
3 THE NETWORK Network is a protocol network built with multiple systems to enhance the food and agricultural security and supply chain system In order to meet the needs of agricultural industries, Network design structure is modularized, and easily expandable Network provides blockchains, distributed verification management, data exchange, and other protocols and APIs Users can easily develop distributed services through without having previous knowledge of blockchain technology Network provides several layers of security in its blockchain, which is the ups in terms of trust and transparency during transactions 15
The blockchain overview simply shows the various systems and modules that makes up the blochchain, and several connections that run in the blockchain It should be noted that files as image files are not stored on blockchain, but on a centralized server, because the cost of managing files on the blockchain is very expensive, but all files stored on this centralized server are seriousely backed up and are served to the blockchain through an extremely secured protocol 31 VERIFICATION 311 Verification of Persons (individual, company) Specialized Identity verification is carried out on every entity before they make use of the platform for any transaction especially the producers and product creators Every entity on the system can get verifiied based on industry specifics, legal requirements, and an appropriate gorvernment approved verification will also be required 16
312 Verification of Objects (products and produce) All objects that must exist on the network must be fully verified with the producer, source that is location, days of production or processing, all fully verified and uniquely identified by a UIC (unique identification code) which is the distinguishing factor for every product on the blockchain 32 Multi-signatory authentication s identity verification system is characteristically decentralized and it is not predefined by industry, nor does it come with peculiar set of features, it is instead built by project-specific requirements, and follows the system specified algorithm in its operations 33 NETWORK APIs and SDKs The NETWORK APIs and SDKs is simply made up of subroutine definitions, protocols, and tools, that makes decentralized applications (web and mobile) to be easily built on the blockchain with little or minute knowledge of programming They are design and carved from various vey secured interconnecting systems and protocols communicating on the blochchain 34 Smart Contracts Agricultural based and related Businesses can grow by implementing smart contracts, building Decentralized applications and trust networks through the blockchain procedure protocols, controls, and data collaboration and exchange 17
35 Farm Marketplace Farm marketplace is a platform that will be built with the blockchain API serving data directly to it, and therby interfacing the blockchain in a very easy, friendlier, browsable way to potential customers, in other words it s a platform that would be used to ensure the users especially the farmers can actually get buyers for their produce as soon as they get out from the farm It s also a platform that helps buyers compare prices for produce in different locations and see which trade to go into, thereby causing almost global price unification for farm produce and products This platform also provides its users a doublepayment method option which is the coin and Native credit cardsthe marketplace is targeted to manage over a 300 million users for the first few years, and built to be expanded in the future 18
4 ECOSYSTEM 41 Ecosystem security and food Security Our team has made tremendous research advances in the areas of food production, storage and processing, as well as food safety and nutrition especially via many internet materials, and discovered there are still much challenges in the world that struggles to provide adequate, nutritious food to every person, and we have digitalized a simplified blockchain system to correctly handle this challenges with it s complex very secured multi dimensioned layers, with different unified operations, and shreds to ensure maximum security for food channelling and moreso, transactions 42 Network Efficient and Transparent transactions Every transaction on the Network is carried out in seconds, and are very transparent, with both input(recieving) and output(sending) addresses properly put in check All addresses are properly checked by the system to ensure they are inplace before any transaction is approved by the system irrespective of the layer of the system the transaction is being carried out 44 TOKEN USAGE TOKEN (BRH) is an utility token that will not only be traded on exchange platforms, but will be used by different financial marketplaces that we will partner with and use the blochchain The BRH will first be put to use on the Market place which is going live in a shortwhile 43 TOKEN INFORMATION AND DISTRIBUTION Token Name: Token Symbol: BRH Total Supply: 2,000,000,000 Crowdsale Price: 013 XLM ~ 00276$ 19
TOKEN DISTRIBUTION: Allocated To units Percentage(%) Airdrop and Bounties 15,000, Team and Development 85,000, Crowdsale 400,000, Reserved 1,500,000, N/B: It should be noted that as at the time of this publication, we reffered to BRH as a token, and not coin because our blockchain isn t ready, and XLM(steller) based token was being used, but after BRH coin swap, it would be BRH coin 20
