The need for an innovative program in Global Financial Market : India is the ninth largest country in the world in terms of market capitalisation of (USD 2.27 trillion or INR 164 lakh crore), and its market capitalization-to-gdp ratio climbed to 74% in 2016, the highest in major markets other than Hong Kong. Indian citizens can now trade on Global markets from USA, UK on NSE platform in Indian rupees without the associated currency risks. Derivatives contracts on global indices are enabling Indian investors to participate in international financial markets and bringing diversification in their investment portfolios. Narender Modi ji, Hon ble Prime Minster of India has already inaugurated the international financial centre in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat as GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company Ltd) in January 2017.GIFT as an international financial centre has been conceptualized as a global financial and IT services hub on the lines of globally benchmarked financial centres such as New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai. GIFT will target 6-8% share of the financial services potential in India and is expected to create about lakh direct and indirect jobs in financial markets. All these developments require competent and qualified experts. PGECP-GFM weekend programme is of 11 months duration, 27 papers, divided into 3 trimesters. In addition to the prestigious PGECP-GFM from NSE Academy, participants will also receive 9 Global Regulatory Certification in financial markets from USA and India as a proof of their competency and skills in financial markets. The students of PGECP-GFM will appear for 1 Global Financial Regulatory Certification Examination of Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) 7. USA financial market regulatory subjects as part of PGECP-GFM : Yes. Financial markets are highly regulated by Governments of respective countries. Candidates interested to develop career in financial markets are required to pass relevant qualifying examinations (and also obtain license, wherever required) to demonstrate competence and expertise required by the country. In USA, this regulatory role is performed by Financial Industry

Potential Career opportunities of PGECP GFM Participants : India has set up its own international financial centre in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat as GIFT city. GIFT will compete with international financial centres such as New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai. There are large numbers of captive units of MNCs, KPOs, BPMs, custodians, pension funds etc. in the financial market domain catering USA, UK clients etc. These companies are registered with FINRA and require financial market professionals for serving their US and international clients. FINRA certified professionals are high in demand and low in supply due to which they are offered good salaries and well respected profiles. The demand for the financial market professionals remains strong in banking, investment and advisory in capital, currency, commodity, etc. The candidates of PGECP-GFM with regulatory certifications in financial markets from USA and India, are likely to be employed by Banking Institutions, Assets Management Companies, Consulting Firms, Private Equity, Venture Capitalist, Regulators, Credit Rating Agencies, Hedge Funds, Technology, Insurance, NBFCs, and Financial Services Institutions etc. A qualified person can be offered various designations like associates, analyst, relationship manager, analyst-equity, analyst-technical, portfolio manager, risk manager, content developer, faculty, financial journalist, operations manager etc. Many participants are able to launch their own ventures as well. It is an autonomous Post Graduate Executive Certificate Programme directly offered by NSE Academy to develop financial markets skills in high demand. 12. Eligibility criteria for admission to the executive weekend PGECP-GFM : Candidate who is a graduate from a recognised Indian university with some work experience is eligible to apply. There is no upper age limit for the programme. The work experience can be in any field either on full time, part time, as an intern or entrepreneur. Persons with professional qualification such as MBA, M.Com, CA, LAWYER, CS, CFA, MCA etc. will be given preference in admission. 13. Selection procedure for weekend PGECP-GFM : The admission to executive weekend batch of PGECP-GFM is based on the evaluation of academic and work profile of the candidate followed by interview. Candidates are required to satisfy themselves about the eligibility and suitability for the program keeping in mind their career goals. In case of any doubt or clarification they are also encouraged to consult the NSE Academy representatives by phone, or personal contact before the last date of 8th April 2019 for registering for the program. 14. Documents required for enrollment : The onus to check the eligibility for admission is on the candidate, at the time of registration, you are required to submit a copy of following documents and bring originals at the time of admission for verification. 10th, 12th, and completed Graduation Mark sheet Birth Certificate Resume Copy Application Form Proof of Work Experience 15. Total investment for Executive weekend PGECP-GFM : The investment for the Program is Rs.3,06,000/- +GST. The payment options are given below. 7 Academy The investment for the programme is exclusive of applicable taxes(18% GST applicable); The investment is inclusive of cost of study material, tuition fees, market simulation lab, immersion programme at Singapore/Dubai (Economy class air fare, visa and travel insurance, airport transfers and hotel accommodation on sharing basis). The investment is also inclusive of one time regulatory examination fees for 8 regulatory modules in India and 1 exam of FINRA, USA. The expenses not specifically mentioned in FAQ, if any, will be borne by the candidate(s). 16. Refund policy : The registration fees is non-refundable. However, refund request received two workings days or 48 hours prior to the date of commencement of course or launch date of course or first lecture/class, whichever is earlier, then: 10% of the course fees (in addition to the registration fees if any) shall be retained by NAL balance 90% of the course fees shall be refunded to the candidate 17. Payment Options : 1. Candidates need to send application in the prescribed form from NSE website or already given at end of FAQs as Annexure A. 2. The fees should be paid by Demand draft in favour of NSE ACADEMY LIMITED. 3. The demand draft should be payable at NSE Academy Regional Office. 4.
