4 4 DIRECTIONAL KEY SYSTEM INSTALLATION To install it, just follow the following procedure 1. You need to close the Meta Trader if you are running it 2. Go to the place where you save the file directionalkeysystem.zip and extract it into a folder 3. Go into the newly extracted folder, you will see the following files Direction.ex4, Confirmation.ex4, KeyStop.ex4, Directional Key System.tpl 4. Copy these files Direction.ex4, Confirmation.ex4, KeyStop.ex4 to your Meta Trader 4 experts\indicators folder. For example: if your Metatrader 4 is installed at C:\Program Files\ Meta Trader 4, then the indicators folder should be located at C:\Program Files\ Meta Trader 4\experts\indicators 5. Copy these files Directional Key System.tpl to your Meta Trader 4 templates folder. For example: if your Metatrader 4 is installed at C:\Program Files\ Meta Trader 4, then the templates folder should be located at C:\Program Files\ Meta Trader 4\templates RUNNING DIRECTIONAL KEY SYSTEM To run Directional Key System, just start your Meta Trader 4 and load the template

5 5 SYSTEM COMPONENTS Directional Key System uses three different indicators: 1. Direction Indicator 2. Confirmation Indicator 3. KeyStop

6 ENTRY RULES Long Entry Enter a LONG position when all following conditions are met - Direction indicator is BLUE and just changes its color from RED to BLUE - Confirmation Indicator is BLUE Short

6 6 ENTRY RULES Long Entry Enter a LONG position when all following conditions are met - Direction indicator is BLUE and just changes its color from RED to BLUE - Confirmation Indicator is BLUE Short Entry Enter a SHORT position when all following conditions are met - Direction indicator is RED and just changes its color from BLUE to RED - Confirmation Indicator is PURPLE Stop loss Stop loss level is set to the value suggested by the KeyStop indicator Exit There are two ways to exit your trade - Use take profit level as suggested by the KeyStopIndicator

7 - Exit when the system shows a reversal signal TRADE EXAMPLES EUR/USD Short Trade Example In this example, we are going to trade EUR/USD pair. The timeframe used is 4-H.

As we can see from the screenshot above, the Direction indicator turned from BLUE into RED. At the same time, the Confirmation Indicator was also in PURPLE color. This was possibly a very good set up for SHORT entry. So, on the opening of the next candle, we entered a SHORT trade at The value of stoploss is 79 pips above (if you use 5- digit broker, this value is 79 x 10 = 790) the entry point and set at The take profit was set at 158 pips below (if you use 5-digit broker, this value is 158 x 10 = 1580) at The trade went down strongly in our favor direction and hit our profit target. The trade was closed with 158 pips profit

8 8 EUR/USD LONG Trade Example on Daily Timeframe As we can see from the screenshot below, the Direction indicator turned from RED into BLUE. At the same time, the Confirmation indicator also changed its color from purple to BLUE. This was possibly a very good set up for LONG entry. So, on the opening of the next candle, we entered a LONG trade at The value of stoploss is 216 pips below the entry point and set at The trade went up strongly in our favor direction.
